    Wow!!

70% of CF want to trade Lin and only 30% want to keep Lin, due to one great quarter of play by Beverly in one game, while Lin played a decent game while injured.

With this lack of Lin support by CF, I am hoping Lin gets traded too, so Lin won't have to deal with shortsighted and ungrateful CF fans.

That's too reasonable for Clutchfans. It's either Linsanity or trade.

What are you smoking? McHale has never run a PG-centric offense. In his system the PG has to take a backseat, which is why Lowry demanded to be traded because he hated McHale.

Because they get short break. Look at Lin, always these long break. Just tell me which starter get this kind of treatment every game. Benched for the complete 4th quarter? On a day where he was hot.

To be fair most of the members that want him traded are Lin supporters.

Actually Mchales offense features a large number of PnR's. It is a high powered offense like Dantoni's was but on steroids. If they can't run and gun and have to set up at the half then go to passing and use PnR's to open a lane. The shootng of 3's serves sevaral purposes but it does bring the defenders outward and thus spreads the floor.

Lin runs the offense well and his stats are top in many categories but he is a streak shooter. When he is stinking it up it makes us want a consistent PG. Someone like a CP3 or a Tony Parker. We can dream

Of course Lin could just grow a set and put on his big boy pants and continue to improve and take us forward. Or he can go home to mommy and whine how the world is unfair. Up to him.

Lowry was already good while under Adelman. And if it was Mchale that "turned" Lowry into a near all- star why would Lowry want to be traded or have Mchale fired? Lol

I'm curious at what point would people here consider McHale "trust" Lin.

    Lin's rankings on the team.

Usage: 2nd(3rd if you count DMo)
    MPG: 3rd
    Assists: 1st
FG attempt: 3rd(despite TS% rank lowest of all Rockets rotation players)
    TOs: 2nd

The only players on the team you can say gets more involved in the offense are Harden and perhaps Parsons. While he's ahead of Asik, Delfino, any PF we've ever played, any backup center, or any of his own backups.

Does this mean Lin needs to be ranked #1 in all of above stats before "McHale trusts Jeremy Lin"?

    Here's Lins' minutes by month:

    October 35.0

    November 34.3

    December 31.1

    January 33.4

    February 32.2

So where exactly did you come up with the idea that he was playing 20 to 25 minutes AT MOST?

LOL.. so true. not to mention what kind of pg you'd get in return for $8mil/yr. on the other hand, a pg in system is not asked to do much at all so i guess you can have someone at the minimum.

I can almost guarantee with 100% certainty, Lin doesn't give a damn about what is or isn't said about him on this message board.

That being benched in favor of a player who is performing better is nothing special in the NBA, especially in cases of role players.

    What was yours?

Didn't you say he doesn't trust rookies? After all, Lin had 82 games starting under his belt.

Just wondering if Lin requests a trade, can he really be traded? Is this really dependent on the player himself?

McHale's offense is very PG-oriented. Just so happens Harden is a great facilitator on this team.

If PGs are consistent, Harden will gladly give up the ball to them. Replay those games when Lin was scoring well.

McHale himself said he sees Lin as a rookie.
