Feign ignorance - you should be fine. Your friend Jake is the one in trouble-if he had a contract with the ISP - he is the one that did not hold up his end of the agreement to pay the ISP....

Ya'll are brutal; I remember when I was a teenager (pretty good since my memory is failing :) ), and I would have been nervous in his situation also.

If you haven't realised it yet, Azadre may be very concerned. He may also be very concerned about his friend. Anyone have any more serious advice that Azadre may use? For those of you that have already offered some, how certain are you that only his friend is in trouble?

I wonder if the knuckleheads logged on at the same time. If the ISP allows that, now the excuse/explanation for that would be fun to hear. :D

If he paid his account . . . .and you been using it
I don't see the beef. IMO this would be like
having a house with two phone lines and two
computers. . . how is him using it on each other
any different than him using it over your house

All he has to do is pay his bill . .. that is all that it is about
IMO . . he pay. . .they ain't gonna do much

if the account ITSELF was illegal than that is different

ISP : Repeatedly? It's seems you've been forgetting for quite some time. What's even more amazing is that we have logs that show data being transferred from both logins simultaneously. Does your computer surf on its own? :D

As far as the final meals, my goal would be to stuff myself so full of my favorite food that I would want to die as I couldn't move. You know how you, every once in a while, eat too much food and feel kind of sick afterwards. I want to feel like I ate my max limit and feel sick. Then, put me down. You would think if your nervous...you would want to eat to block that out. Therefore, I don't understand those who declined their last meal. Funny how the most popular items seem to be fried chicken and hamburgers. Those inmates really know good food. Not one fried seafood platter. What...noone likes seafood?

good point, i was thinking the same thing...

i wonder if any vegetarians just said "screw it, i'm gonna die, i might as well eat some meat..."

it would be interesting if they were vegetarians for religous reasons and chose to go against their religious beliefs just before dieing...

ISP : Please explain to us how your brother manages to log on from multiple locations since we have logs of 3 or more simultaneous connections. Let me guess... you have multiple brothers at multiple houses all logging on at the same time on multiple machines you turned on and left logged on.

After this, I'd just point to the TOS that probably says this was illegal activity to begin with. Little brother or not, you are responsible for your account and its usage.

Man, I'd love to be the ISP in this case because I'd be laughing hysterically as they try to explain this stuff...

Jake: Um...um...you see...like, we have two computers in our house, and, um, I like, left one logged on, then the other, which my mom uses...then I went to Azadre's house.

Do you have a lawyer in your family or one that is a family friend that would talk to you for free? Calling them may quickly put and end to your worrying. Good luck

    Edit:
I missed your message above saying the account was legal. You should be fine:)
