That's pretty dumb, considering Harden is basically putting up regular season numbers.

I don't know how you can't see what's limiting this team is the coach and role players have taken us as far as they can. Clippers' entire defensive game plan is centered around Harden, so why are you expecting him to put up 30+ every game?

It would've been real interesting if Dwight could've opted out this season. I wonder if Morey would even mind, considering there are plenty of centers available in the open market this season, and we'd have more cap space to get another star.

Do not care, he is not a big time winner in any standard.

That's BS. Surround Dwight with elite 3pt shooters and he can take you to the finals like he did Orlando. 4 of the 5 starters on that team were 40%+ on 3s. They also had a bench that could shoot.

We only have 2 guys who hit 40%, Terry and Harden. Everyone else is 30% or lower. But supposedly those other guys play defense.

Good post. Sometimes on cf.net the loudest voices aren't the most educated. Lol @ a guy getting 20+ 10+ and lots of defensive attention is a role player.

Dwight is a good center, but his knees and his inconsistent effort during the regular season, as well as his lack of a consistent post game will hurt him in his next contract.

He is a game changer when healthy and motivated.

Two things he struggles with these days.

Dwight is so overrated. He just is getting schooled by Jordan.

Agreed. He's only good because of how athletic he was/is. What is it that he does well?

Where did all this come from? Hasn't Howard been the best player for the Rockets so far in the playoffs?

Unless there is some unknown like a serious injury between now and then, Dwight is definitely going to opt out next year. The cap increase says it would be stupid not to. OP didn't say or offer anything insightful.

It's not Dwight that's diminished, it's the importance of the center in today's NBA. A damn shame too because I feel like under the late 90's rules he would have a championship by now.

I thought he said he would set more screens instead of trying to post up Deandre ****ing Jordan. I wonder whats Dwight shooting percentage on post ups against him. I know its horrible. If Dwight would set Screens for Harden and Bring Deandre out the paint or force a switch. James can attack Jordan more and maybe get him in foul trouble.

Dwight is clogging up the ****ing lane. He needs to move around on offense. James is getting no help from anyone!
