I think Adelman should be the one to go.

Wow, first you start off and blame Adelman for running off a guy like Steve Francis who was a team cancer even when JVG was here? Lol!! Then he came back out of shape and couldn't do squat and Adelman is the bad guy? WOW!!

And Adelman should be fired because of Tmac??? Where do you people come up with this stuff? Adelman has been freaking awsome for this franchise and I hope he stays around for a very long time. He's a freaking player's coach and has had a great reputation for years with players all around the league.

This is one of the most ignorant posts I've ever read.

Yeah, he stood at center court, for the other team it's like playing 5 on 4.

He hasn't been moving much during his playing time this year either IMO.

I still don't get something though. It has been clear that T-Mac was going to play limited minutes until after the first. It was no surprise, everyone was aware of it, Adelman was very clear. So, he plays what, 7 games, then he freaks out with just a few games left before the first and goes home for Xmas?

    Me-Mac.... enough said.

    actually "you're" an idiot.

adelman is a great coach... and you have a capable player not even given a chance. that's just dumb. yao's not going to fit in his system and he'll be run out of here too. wacksauce.

I agree, you can't change history. So let's examine the history.

You say "He has one arguement with the guy then all of a sudden his minutes decrease".

In game 1 vs Lakers Wafer played 8 minutes

in game 2 vs Lakers Wafer played 9 minutes. He had the argument with Adelman at the end of the 3rd quarter.

In game 3 vs Lakers Wafer played 17 minutes. What? The game after the argument his minutes almost doubled.

In game 4 vs Lakers Wafer played 7 minutes. Back to the same ball park as game 1 and 2.

In game 5 vs Lakers Wafer played 13 minutes.

In game 6 vs Lakers Wafer played 5 minutes.

In game 7 vs Lakers Wafer played 16 minutes.

So where is the decrease in playing time that you are talking about? He logged more minutes in 3 of the games AFTER the argument than he did in games 1 or 2.

You are correct. You can't change history...no matter how hard you try.

T-mac is better than half the team when he's hurt. This B.S. about not being able to work him in is just that B.S....If a coach wanted to work him in he'd be in. Rockets have been wanted the easy way out for sometime. If you can't take a player like T-mac and use him on this team you just plain out don't want him. This -chemistry crap is overated.

These are professionals that have been playing the sport their whole lives. You don't think T-mac can get in there and play because he upsets the -chemistry-....Your nuts...!...If you just don't want the man here anymore....then say it, but to say....WE can't work him in is an insult to him and the Rockets.....Man-Up.....CHEMISTRY...?....You got to win something to have CHEMISTRY....what a croc...!...GOOD LUCK T-MAC.....GOOD LUCK ROCKETS....!...what a croc.....can't work him in....! ! !

Can't work him in cause he sucks right now.

Not Rocket science it is lack of explosion, lack of ability, lack of defense.

    The guy just stinks......

Exactly. There's not a single valid reason for the Rockets to have given McGrady any minutes at all. But they did, and you should respect them for that.

Adelman didn't say that they COULDN'T work him in. What he said was that we wouldn't have as good of a chance of being successful if we played McGrady extended minutes. Those are two very different things.

That's great that you think so highly of McGrady. If he's still that good then I'm sure GMs will be racing to the phone trying to acquire him.

How much scoutin can you do to a guy who is only playin 7 mins?? what can you actually get out of that.

Mind you he is warming up before the game then sits down and has to warm up again??

Hey OP (or any of the few who agree with him):

I'm curious, list coaches you would rather have than Adelman.

They are doin that now or will do it considering he is a hug chip for the LeBron sweeps stake. I wouldn't be surprised if the Cavs themselves called just so they can have more $$$ to over pay LeBron so he can stay.

I would've thought that they could still have tried to give TMac some more minutes - esp. the CBud minutes whilst he was out. That would really tell us how much he can really contribute with meaningful minutes.

Anyway, what's done is done ... gotta move on.

A player can only get the max amount from their team there is no extra max money Cleveland can over pay Lebron. Your general basketball knowledge from the posts I have read is appalling.

To cap someone at 7 minutes whether or not they're doing well is stupid. 10 points in 8 minutes the other night ... then they take him out because he's hit that 8 minute limit? thats just dumb.
