So I decided to take the plunge and get my nether region waxed (the terminology for a guy is boyzilian) a couple nights ago.

First off, let me reassure everyone that waxing your pubes is as EXACTLY painful as it sounds. There were times when I was absolutely positive that some of my skin had come off especially when the esthetician was doing the scrotum. I have a pretty high threshold when it comes to pain but I almost let out a yell when she was waxing the shaft.

Secondly, I was a little worried about popping a woody during the procedure since a lot of the experiences I had read about boyzilians were from guys popped one during the waxing. I can tell everyone now that there is no freaking way anyone can get a chubby while getting this done unless they are some sort of masochist or exhibitionist or combination of both. I have no idea how one can get turned on by melting hot wax on the penis. I swear it scalded the skin a couple of times. The esthetician was nice enough to blow on the skin as she applied the wax, but honestly it didn't help. I don't have any STD's but hot wax on your penis must be close to something like one.

On the plus side, it feels fantastic afterwards. I'm going to purchase a set of silk boxers to enjoy the full effect.

The pubes got mildly itchy today since the hair started growing already, plus the skin is EXTREMELY tender from the waxing. Other than that, there's no other damage.

I will probably go back for another session during summertime because things just feel breezier down there, but I don't know if I want to deal with the pain after summertime.

If anyone is considering getting this done, I recommend it but be prepared for a lot of pain.

I don't understand why a guy would use waxing for hair removal. How long before you hair start growing back? I don't see the point of waxing if your hair will still grow back. How about just shave it?

The hair doesnt grow back as fast with waxing. Also i have very sensitive skin so anytime ive used a razor in the past i get massive amounts of razor burn

I'm still not understanding your medical reason(ing)? If you don't want ingrowns, just don't shave it or anything. Seems like you're putting yourself through a lot of unnecessary pain.

And waxing your sack? That should be against the law. I can't believe places actually are willing to do it.

If it's a medical condition, why can't you get it lasered instead?
