He appears to have lost 20 pounds this summer. Even posted photos before and after in his IG. (the before had some glorious manboobs and fat ).
Just in time for his new contract. I wouldn't pay him and I think Ainge has soured too much with him but if he manages to breakout this season he can cash in a bit.
Ainge has too much capspace and will after the big names or trades. Not TT.
Even the idea of a team with IT in the backcourt paired with Olynyk and TT in the front gives me chills.

I'm not advocating TT to Boston at all. Just making a point about Sully and Ainge. Ainge doesn't like him, doesn't want him, but would like to trade him for some kind of value. Boston has 16 guaranteed contracts so they'll either have to waive some guaranteed money or figure out some sort of 2 for 1 deal or trade one of their guys for some future picks. But the point is Sully doesn't represent value in trade for TT.

Personally....I'd take a flyer on Sully for Jones. I think that makes us better with Sully being a better power player in the blocks and a better shooter out on the floor. But we'd have to find some place to take in Jones and give us a good enough pick to ship to Boston for Sully. And then again, I have no idea how Morey feels about Sully. But I would guess he'd probably have the same sort of value to him that Ainge has, so probably wouldn't deal Jones for him.

Oh. I thought you were being sarcastic because in previous convo you seemed to be very high on Sullinger.
I completely agree btw. Plus Sul is a prime candidate for a breakout or rather contract season. But would you really trust him to cut off the food? I definitely wouldn't. The way he whines to the press that it's genes and not diet too it's frustrating. I don't think this change of lifestyle is here to stay mostly due to the timing of it. And with his back problems it's a must that he keeps off the fat.
I think IF ainge can't get anything done with his prime trade targets and FA targets then he may want to get Jones. Otherwise maybe a threeway with Toronto. They can give their pick since they will have the NY too.
Sullinger has more talent than Jones but his workethic is horrible.

[Lloyd] I've been told reports of extension for Tristan Thompson inaccurate. No deal struck, nor do #Cavs seem interested in reported 3/$53 million

LOL Broussard got bad sauces. Willing to sign a deal that has not been offered?

****** Sully had to get an INTERVENTION to lose weight  LMAO
Falk dragged Lucas all the way from Houston to get him to zip his mouth for the summer so he can get a good contract.
    That's just hillarious.
And right after the contract is signed he will balloon once again to Big Baby junior levels.

wow that is absurd - he played well for the cavs in the playoffs and finals but he has been in the league long enough to show what his ceiling is - I dont see him magically elevating his game to another level to justify that contract. Not to mention the Cavs have a better rebound and a far better offensive player starting in front of him in Kevin Love. Tristan and his agent are out of their freaking minds. Totally over playing their hand here.

Rich Paul, Thompson's agent, has submitted a counteroffer of three years, $53 million. Before, they were seeking a five-year, $94-million maximum contract. The new terms being requested still represent a max deal, but with fewer years.

The Cavaliers view both of the offers the same: They aren't interested. However, they are willing to up their five-year, $80-million offer, sources informed Northeast Ohio Media Group, but to what extent is unknown at this time.

Thompson has until Thursday to sign a qualifying offer of $6.8 million, and if he does, Paul's threat of Thompson walking next summer when he's an unrestricted free agent will linger during the 2015-16 season.

didn't sign qo and we have a holdout. Until he signs he won't play and if holdouts for a year next year he will still be a rfa. He can sign offersheets but the only two who can give him what he asks for are Blazers and Philly, and they won't.

So TT and Rich Paul basically are hypocrites who lied about all these max offers they had on the table for next summer, and they are also cowards who don't wanna risk and bet on themselves to play on the QO.
He will sign very soon. Cavs are his own option now.
