Looking at the schedule for February, I think we could be looking at a lot of wins in the near future.
I'm an optimism fan, so kudos. My only complaint is that you ignored how Scola stepped up in the second half. If he doesn't, we don't win. No biggie. It was really a team effort, which is the gist of what you're saying, anyway. How we'll manage much of a streak without Lowry remains to be seen, however.
I think another key to winning that game is that Portland didnt have any shot blockers. Over the past few games we have been blocked a fair few times. Atlanta and Denver had our number in the paint which stopped AB from dominating on the drive. Once AB was free to work against Portland it gave us a distinct advantage. We are always going to struggle against teams with good interior defense (shotblockers). I did like the change of tempo though, isnt this what RA has been looking for all year?
I think it's nice to actually see an optimism thread, instead of all the pessimistic ones lately. Hopefully the Rockets can pull a string of wins and get back up their in the playoff race.
We still aren't consistent, that's been our problem all of 2010. It was one game against Portland, without Roy. And we are letting teams have a chance to win the games we work all 3 quarters to win to have our leads switched on us. This game was just the rockets telling us they were tired of loosing let's see how we do against the suns.
I dunno Clyde had said we're giving up our fast paced game accounting for some of our losses. And now since Lowry is out who is our poster boy for hustle and speed, I don't see much motivation to move out there. Phoenix is a good benchmark though to see where we're at..
i like 2 agree but u gotta realize we beat portland withouth there stars and we barely beat them and also we are gonna be without lowry now 4 atleast a week
