I think you're on to something here. We have bruiser backs one of them with some speed but I think the strategy would work better if the Texans passed most of the first half hypothetically built a lead and THEN, work at pounding the football and work at wearing down the oppositions defense. Because, the only time I've really seen Gado make a play was late in the 4th with Indy. I know, i know he was playing 3rd or 4th teamers but seeing how our running game is not primarily strong, we need to work toward our strengths so we can overlap our weaknesses. Hey SF with Montana and Young did this all the time, pass to Rice and Taylor to set up Roger Craig why not? Good call now that we have a semblance of an offensive line. IMO Cant do any worse in this respect. :D :D

I do think so. AJ was interviewed on 13 last night and said that Carr was supposed to underthrow it so he could go up and get it. AJ had NOT beaten his man on the play, so if Carr put it out there, it would have been an incomplete pass. The guy was all over him, that's why Carr underthrew it.

    You've got to be kidding.

i agree. his "playaction" really does suck. i remember watching Mcnabb do playaction and kept thinking, "now that's how Carr needs to run it."

Brady Quinn is probably the last player I would take...

We need a RB, OT, OG, C, WR, DE, DT, OLB, CB, SS, FS, and K more than we need a QB.

Exactly. Our saftety play has been horriffic and we still aren't getting nearly enough pressure on the QB.

Carr has looked good, but he still isn't getting anything even resembling adequate protection.

When you are at the bottom, there is no where to go but up.

Clearly you have bigger problems than wondering why we made the Morency/Gado trade.
