    that's damn right

i've seen ming play more than anyone here... he's muscular.. and moves well

Sane: i'll say it again... no history of injuries... family of professional ballers...

Houstone: that guy you see driving past ming is one of china's top players... same team as wang and a huge reason wang won three? straight.

anybody that says they're not sold on the guy needs to just realize there's no better place to invest your pick in this draft. there's just still that one thing i emphasize about him and that's sheer determination to get better.

btw, if you think his arms and legs are lanky, that guy driving on ming in Houstone's pic is a PF and maybe 6'7-6'8... and a hefty guy... even in the mourning pic, you can see his stumps slightly and how they match up with zo's

bibby driving into ming's lower torso is like bibby running thru a forest and hitting a sequoia

I'd have to say goodbye to Mobes. He's too one-dimensional anyway. Move Francis to the 2 spot, where he's better suited, and play Moochie and Brown at the 1.

I could not watch an entire season of Moochie running the point
    I'd go bald!

listening to this high post talk has got me real excited at drafting ming. we NEED to win this lottery! btw, dude looks pretty buff in the picture where he's guarding the "little" guy.

Well...it's not like Francis 'runs' the point. He tosses alleyoops and runs isos. At least Mooch can break down the defense and get others involved. With a serious low post threat, I don't see him dribbling out the shot clock.

If losing Mobes means bringing in a center of Ming's ability, I have no problem seeing Cuttino go. We can find another guard. We can not find another 7-5 agile shot-blocker with an outside shot, posting skills and the good court vision.

Well if Francis would actually leave for that simple reason, then I'd so it's not a good plan. I just don't see Francis acting that way if Rudy and CD gave him the 411. Francis wants to win and if that means losing his bud, I think he can adjust. Francis/Ming/Griffen//KT/Mo T would be awesome for the long haul. Possibly a dynasty if Griffen turns into the player he's expected to be. I'm confident he will.

A little better? He handles the ball like it's going to bite him. I think I have only seem him take consecutive dribbles without a turnover one time. Besides, if Ming isn't a low post player, don't we need one? I think Eddie is the best candidate.

Trading KT should not even be a concern when it comes to getting a stud like Ming

Kenny who? I mean I love the guy but he's a classic tweener.

Anything but Steve Mobes and Griff for ming

    Anything

Dude my biceps are twice the size of Ming's and I'm only 5'8, what are you guys talking about!? The guy is a stick. I'm not saying he will suck or anything just correcting you guys on his arms. I have only seen him on Real Sports the HBO show. He looked skinnier than Bradley, and had absolutely no competition, but that was all of 40 seconds of him that they showed. I wish I saw him play against the Dream team, I heard he did ok. My only fear is that we draft the Asian Bradley. Bradley sucks plain and simple. He can only block from the weakside and has absolutely no ability to cover an NBA center. The one plus I could think of having a Bradley type would be to throw those errant elbows that quite frequently injure players.

Like I said I have seen a combined 40 seconds of the guy playing and can't fairly comment on his game, but I can say that my arms are twice as big as his.

    Carry on.

    Scareface,

no one cares if your arms are twice as big as the Yao-maker. Every Orangutan on this planet has arms twice as big as the Yao-maker.

Point is: Yao has arms and legs twice as big as Bradley's.

and he doesn't have a scar on his face.

damn it, no more bradley comparisons

the other "point is" is that yao ming wont whine his ass off like bradley... he'll actually want to get off the floor and stay in the game and freaking play better on the next play.

by the way, i bet his little ming is twice the size of yours :p

Well, not in English anyway. :D

But seriously, this this guy looks good, and if he's available on draft day, I'd take him.

Well, that's it. After 430 or so posts, I'll be marked as a racist. Oh well.

well with harvey, i gotta rethink this. thats how much i like him.

im not totally sold on dooling either.

also i would play the bucks pick at backup center and the dallas pick at backup sg. makes more sense. ;)

Doc Rocket, as always great information. Many of posts have the Rockets trading their picks as well as some players that are currently on the roster. Do you know if Rudy and Co. would be willing to part with Eddie as well as our picks to move up and maybe draft Ming? Personally I like Eddie and feel that he should be one of the untouchables on our team.

I enjoy reading all the posts on this board. Anything that has to do with the Rockets Rules :D.

Hey Doc, how about some more info. to keep this thread going. :)

If the worse records meant winning the lottery, Rick pitino would still be in Boston. He came to boston because they had the worse record in the league and 2 high picks. He was assuming the would have the number 1 plaus thier number six. He was dreaming of Duncan and maybe tim thomas or someone, but he would up with the 4th pith and drafted Chauncey Billips and Ron Mercer. He thought he was slick. The Bulls in recent yrs although having the worse reord hasn't hit the number one yet. Who knows, we might be like Charloote and sneak into the top 3, if thats the case, our options are wide open.
