Armani had an interesting take on being famous. It wasn't quite what I expected him to say. He said it felt like he was isolated and alone, and that there was a wall between him and any kind regular life. He wished he could change it, but knew he couldn't and that he would always feel alone. He said people are afraid to talk to him. They are too nervous to talk to him and he wishes they weren't. Those last two lines surprised me, because most famous people say that too many people try to approach them. But it seems Armani has become so well known and so famous that he's like the Godfather. Nobody will go near him or talk to him. Strange. ------------------ humble, but hungry.
I do know for a fact that being famous also actracts some wired people too. Same day at the open rockets thing, Cavin Murphy was signing autographs and I was tring to get to him. This guy was in front of me, (I don't know why I get behind people in line who always have issues.) had a photo album. He starts telling Calvin about his wife and how she died of cancer and he started pulling out all these pictures of his wife. Now Calvin was like "okay, sir I'll be right back" and he left. I didn't get to speak to Calvin or get an autograph. But that was just too weird... Made me think about how many weird people these famous people bump into. I'm sure they have to be on guard from gruopies and weirdo's. ------------------ RAWW Paid for by the Frudy T. Gin and Juice Daquari Factory.
I remember there was a groupie approching Carlos Rogers, but a secuirty guard stopped her.She was trying to sit on the player's bench. It was funny cause it looked like she was drunk. ------------------ At guard 6'3 from Maryland number 3 Steve Francis!!!!
I tried to get the Wizard's autograph at a game in San Antonio. San Antonio has like a round track around the court and floor seats. The same track is used by the players to get to the locker room. Only a rope put up my an usher whenever a player walks by prevents people from mugging him. Anyways, as the only Rockets fan there waiting one hour before a preseason game I go up to Walt only to have an usher put a hand in my face and tell me to stop. I just laughed...great place to watch a game. I'll be sad when the Spurs move out of the Alamodome. ------------------
