It's going to be disgusting that Carmelo will be considered a better player than McGrady years down the line b/c Melo makes it farther in the playoffs.

This guy's game is so absurdly one-dimensional that it's absurd to build around him. If he can't score (and score efficiently), he doesn't impact the game in any other way on an all-star level. Sure, he gives you double digit rebounds sometimes. But playmaking? Nope. Defense? Nope. Consistent hustle? Nope.

The Pacers aren't a great team. And the Knicks' loss proves they weren't a great team either. And Melo is an all-star (b/c he's an elite scorer)and that's it.

Carmello as nauseating as he is at least knows how to keep his mouth shut. That was mac's problem.

Uh, Carmelo is a Top Five Clutch player of all time according to statistical systems of measure. This is not my subjective opinion. The stats on his last possession shots is insanely high...like over 50%. Jordan is below 25%. And lots of laughs at putting LeBron on that list.

This is stupid, if Melo was so insanely clutch then why hasn't he lead his team anywhere?

"Oh yeah, Melo was so clutch!"

"Oh, so NY is going to the ECF?"

"Nope, they got their butts handed to them. But Melo's last 3 shots went in, how clutch is that?!"

Clutch is when it counts in the playoffs. That's what they play for.

Part of the problem is that Melo is in NYC and so is in the media all the time. He's a very good player, but T-Mac was on another level. Actually, more like two levels above Melo. T-Mac in his prime was a one man army. He had absolutely no support and could get his team to 50+ wins.

I've never heard of this. This does not seem right. It sounds like hyperbole to say Melo shoots over 50% but Jordan is below 25%.

Can you provide a link to this stat? I always though Melo was like Kobe. Misses more of the game winners than makes, but people only remember the ones that go in.
