eh, you get a C- for not putting the guy in an MMA hold until the cops arrived.

Joking aside, bravo. Good work mister. You deserve a smoothie.

    Way to go, Smoothie.

Your friends kinda suck though for letting him go.

Junk flapping around or not, dude is a rapist and he needed to go to jail.

    Anyway, props for the heroics.

HUGE props to you. That a pretty scary situation and you really did step up as what I would consider a hero. With the possibility of him having a weapon, the reality is that you risked your life to help someone you didn't know. Very noble and very courageous.

Like someone else said, your friends are cowards though. If their justification for not stopping the guy is true, they can blame it on their homophobia when this guy goes out and assaults more women.

This is actually the case they talk about at the beginning of the movie The Boondock Saints, if you've ever seen it.

The sad thing, if I'm reading the story correctly, is that she wasn't raped. It was more of an attempted rape. While there is definitely still some shame and embarrassment involved in that, the guy seems like he could be very dangerous and prone to do this again, judging by the description of the event.

Just thinking that this guy could be hiding in another alley during bar closing time next weekend makes me sick. I really wish there wasn't a stigma, or perceived stigma, over reporting rapes like this.

Very courageous! Not many people would do that...go through a dark alley? Forget it.

So glad nothing happened to you and your friends. You never know he could have a gun or knife.

I think you were supposed to whack him in the nads with the butt of your pistol.

Good job, dude. To bad the woman involved is not strong enough to get the police involved. It makes me question whether she would have even said anything had she been raped. Chances are she could identify the guy and he has been in trouble with the law before...so she could probably pick him out of a photo line-up potentially. It's just sad this guy gets to rape again. Your friends are weak. If he attacked you, then I guess they were just going to stand around then and watch?

People are ****ing pathetic. Too bad the asshat got away, but smoothie, I can't say it any better than anyone else has to this point, but major props for stepping up in a situation where (clearly) no one else was going to do anything about it.

Hopefully she does end up reporting the guy, although it's probably too late now. Great work.

I can't believe you were mad at your friends for not trying to stop him. I am kind of questioning you on this one. Eye for an eye. You should have given to him what he was trying to give to her.
