    That post gave me goosebumps... You've convinced me... For the rest of the playoffs, I am going to do everything I can to quell my Rafer and Juwan hate...

    (I actually never hated a Rocket before Ryan Bowen in 2005... he opened me up to an emotion I never thought I could feel about any Houston Rocket.)

    I've been a Rockets fan for going on 13 years now, regardless of the statistics. This was a great thread.

    And I thought up something special for all of the haters that pollute this site:

    B=======================D

    (and if you haven't figured it out, tilt your head to the right)

    No I'm a VSOF and always will be. ;)

    I've loved the Rockets down to the end of the bench whether its Granville Waiters or Steve Novak.

    Why I may criticize them and want to tear my hair out its no different than when I criticize my family or they want to make me tear my hair out.

    Interesting how this thread fell to page 12 after 2 losses.

    The Rockets are not the perfect team. They are not very atheletic, they are not physically very strong or very talented.

    Their superstars each has his flaws-- one takes bad shots and the other is slow due to his huge size.

    Surrounding these two are a guy who can't create his own shots (Battier), a PG who can't finish drives, and a 6'6'' PF with no offensive skills. Coming off the bench are a 40 year old (Mutombo), a career loser (Juwan), and a undersized 2 (Head).

    They are also coached by a guy who stayed too loyal to this flawed group.

    But they've managed to be something better than their individual flaws-- and that's a beautiful thing. I don't know if they have what it takes to make it all the way... probably not, but that doesn't mean I won't root for them.
