Return to your apt. and offer her the couch then say "you know what just take my bed" she'll say "oh no." Insist she take it and upon the 3rd refusal mention the bed is big enough for the both of you. Once in bed make your move. When your through hooking up go to couch so as to avoid awkwardness in the morning. A few weeks will pass and then she'll want to have a talk. Yes. The majority of my friends are females and I respect them too much to engange in any blurring of the friendship line. But on three occasions I have gotten out of the friend zone. One ended up really bad with her refusing to even be in the same city with me, the other we chatted and agreed that the freindship was more important than trying to date, and the last one resulted in a three year relationship that ended with some bitter resentment. I'll tell you this. Women have the capacity to upgrade a guy that they think is unattractive or not their type provided they have a killer personality and they're attractive enough that they would set up their best friends/family with. Men do not have this capacity. I agree that if the guy is a total slob quasimoto type then his place in the "friend zone" is permanent.
Well other than percicles, I have to agree with everyone else - #2 is better-looking than #1. And we are not saying this because we know you are jonesing more for #1 than #2; we're saying this because #2 REALLY is better-looking than #1.
