Our basketball coach won't let us wear And1 shoes or any shoes with zippers or no shoe laces. If you do wear them, your not allowed to play. Simple as that. My Flightposite's have a zipper but they have shoelaces inside. hehe. ------------------ Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Langhi at the buzzer.......YES!!! How Sweet It Is!!
If people keep buying ($) them cause of Jordan, Nike is gonna keep making them. Those are some sad looking shoes. ------------------ Go West! Life is peaceful there!
I can't speak to on-the-court shoes (though I love my Iversons), but I just got a pair of Nike And 1's that are like slippers. The guy at the store called the "post game shoes" though I am hardly ever in a post game need for shoes. They are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They are slip-ons with fleece on the outside and tennis shoe bottoms. Every time I wear them, I get compliments all over the place. ------------------ Mmmmmmm. Sacrelicious.
heyp - yeah, I had heard that a few weeks ago (although there's a lot more to it than just making them in the US, but it does hurt profits). Converse denied it though, but I dunno. Tell ya the truth, the last pair of Converse I had were excellent. Right now, I'm sportin' Air Jordans (from a year or two ago -- the suede ones) and I love them.
