DJ would also murder Prigioni on the boards! That's a genius assesment right there.

Why is everyone still constantly putting DMo against Cs of the league. DMo is a pure PF. Sure he can play C at times in small lineups, but that's not his position. He's not even a PF/C tweener. DMo is a true PF.

I MISS DMO and always will

He is the one guy who can get you offense besides Harden by himself. He is the one guy who will take charges, who will run the court, who will keep the ball moving, who will put a body on Griffin, who will do whatever it takes every play.

He is the one guy with most heart on this team and a never say die attitude. He would never quit like most of the others did yday.

Why are we talkng about DMo defending DJ when Howard would be on the floor?

Well his specific procedure to repair the siatic or whatever nerve in his lower back only takes about 4-6 weeks to heal. He should have started rehabbing maybe a week ago and maybe come back and play. So that "no quit" attitude is moot...

That surgery has a 3 month recovery time, he was never going to make it back and able to play in the playoffs or for Lithuania this summer.

Bev and DMo would have brought that heart and hustle last night.

I beg to differ. There were many games in the regular season when we could not hit the side of a barn from outside. We dumped it to dmo for automatic shots. His effort/scoring is a catalyst for everyone else. And demoralizing for the other team. He is taller than griffin and can handle him on the post moves. He can also pass like a point guard. And started shooting the three very well at the end of the season. most importantly, he is able to stretch the floor with his outside shooting... leaving driving lanes for harden - which is why he is so ineffective this series. Alas, i dont see our strategy changing any time soi .

Yup, if we had DMo last night, our starting PF would have been a guy that is competent offensively which would force Griffin to work and would have added a lot of defense which was completely lacking last night. Also, the ball moves a lot better with DMo on the court. Basically we really missed our starting PF and starting PG last night and we didn't play well enough to win with the guys we did have.

We beat the Clips in their building with Dmo and without Howard.

Howard is a weakside blocker... He doesn't do any type of wall or man to man defense. Hell you discussed this with your own thread just last season.

Why is everyone talking about DJ destroying DMO? DMO would be playing the 4 beside Dwight. We need DMO's shot creating abilities for when the offense stagnates. TJones has been an absolute no-show.

DMo has lots of plays, but more important team play better with him. I dont know does that stat exist but from hole season for my eye - there was not a player on Rox that set more screens for Beard, post plays,.. fast passed for open shooters,.. game flow is just better with DMo.

Here here, it might be 2 months and he's not ruled out of NT. Chances are small though.

Terrance Jones ****ing sucks. McHale is a joke and our PF spot is atrocious. Damn we need Dmo.

The main reason we miss dmo is because our other PF's do not understand how to play within a team scheme. Neither smith nor jones make the simple pass or the hockey assist . They are a lot like j Lin in that they are home-run hitters and are best off as energy guys .

The worst thing is that neither of them has thought to play off griffin and make him a jump shooter . The reason why griffin is dominating us is because he is BLOWING BY our PF's . Dmo is the smarter player and would play griffin much better by using his size and skill. Jones and smith are basically miniature, inferior versions of griffin . Honestly I would try Capela on him and try to make him a jumpshooter

Me too. He is my favorite player in the team. He is skillful, focused, and play the game with his heart and mind.
