Baseball is a corrupt sport and it starts at the top.

 

This place is the most dead-focused place for people to talk about Houston sports teams, especially the Rockets. There's a lot of passion and with that comes a lot of hyper attention to detail and thus more complaining than average. And also a lot of mood swings. You'll see higher highs and lower lows here than anywhere else. If you accept that and roll with it, you'll also see better analysis and insight here than anywhere else. And a lot of generally cool people.

 

I remember a team that played at the Summit and the Toyota Center, went to the playoffs consistently, hauled in a couple of championships, and was fun as hell to watch in person. I miss the Aeros terribly.

 

Each team is a billion dollar business. And the refs are human. Of course there's corruption.
