You probably miss your ex-girlfriend who would hit you when you talked back to her too I bet. Von was and is a team sore. Doubt he gets much playing time in Boston. His back is gone.

True, but a player such as Von is not going to change the landscape of our franchise. He can and has been replaced, no big deal, life goes on I guess I am trying to say.

IQ is what makes a player great. Look at Kobe. He's great not just because of his god given talent but his IQ is tremendous. Lebron's IQ is out of this world. That is one of the reason why he's great.

Having speed and athleticism is great. Much like JR Smith. He's incredibly gifted, much more than Wafer is but his IQ is low, which is why not many teams would want him. A player with an high IQ not only helps them succeed on the basketball court, but it also enables them to improve the team and have more success at closing out the games.

Chase is a very underrated athlete. I'm pretty sure Chase is just as explosive as Wafer is. But his high IQ is what separates the two players. Chase's IQ enables him to have more upside than Von.

Von Wafer does not deserve a thread. It was his own fault he turned down a reasonable contract just because he wants money.

A guy like Carl Landry is the one that deserves a thread.

Well, um, no. Budinger is a better player, there's no denying that. So while I like Wafer, he's gone, and we have Bud. So I don't miss him.

I kind of agree. For a white man, he can sure get up there. :p
But if we're talking about huge momentum changing play, Von Wafer is the king.

Clutch threes, huge dunks, etc. Guy is a legitimate 6th man. If he were decent on defense and passed the ball a bit more, the Rockets would have kept him.

Give examples of the players the rockets had in the past decade who were like him since he was a dime a dozen?

We have two right now in Chase and possibly JT.

All I am saying is that our success as a team has nothing to do with Von, he had a good season with us, but it is over and I don't think DM or anyone in the Rockets organization is losing sleep over Von Wafer being gone.

Chase is a different kind of player.

Lee will bring alot of what Wafer did but play more defense and not get kicked off the bench in a playoff game.

I mean it's easy for someone to say, "Um, yea, Bud's a better player". But how is he better? Wafer's a better ball handler, quicker off the dribble, can create better, and gets to the rim easier. The only thing Budinger does better is shoot. Overrall, Wafer is a more polished player. Dadakota actually thought Bud's better than JR Smith lol. Some of you guys are being ridiculous when it comes to Bud

ill tell you one think though, the city of houston loved him, seriously, i mean people loved the guy, i mean when was the last time people were getting their hair cut just like an nba player. his hawk started a style here, i remember i got my wafer cut outside of the TC when they were offering them during the playoffs. :D
he was a great spark off the bench, when he came out, you knew what to expect.
