What was up with the spanish talk whenever she was talking about her JeffVG halftime interview before the game? She said something in spanish and then said...."wait we're in America now" and then she starts talking in English again. I was like..ummmm...okay??
I think she was speaking Italian, she played 14 seasons of basketball in Italy, so every now and then she busts out speaking Italian. Why? I dont know.....
Dear Rockets Marketing Division, The Cynthia Cooper experiment has failed miserably. She is a complete and total embarrassment to the Rockets' organization. She adds *nothing* to the broadcast. For God's sake, she is a bumbling, inarticulate idiot who serves no other purpose than to act childishly and repeat cliches ad nauseum. Please fix this mistake before further embarrassment is created. How can any rational person watch her and think she is doing a good job? Admit your mistake. Fire her. Bring back Lisa. Hannah didn't have hair under her nose or armpits, so apparently she won't do. Besides, she's under national contract now. We made fun of Lisa. However, she was light years ahead of Cooper in terms of ability and professionalism. I'm sure management was thinking she would become another Calvin Murphy. They forgot to factor in that, even given all of Calvin's shortcomings, he knows how to explain basketball and all its intricacies while keeping it fun. Sadly, Coop just has hair under her arms.
Maybe Coop was hired to draw her many Comets fans to the Rocket's broadcast. She is not very good right now, but I can't blame Joel Blank for the hire. She would be better with the fans.
I like power dancer natalie and her friend..those two should take over the half-time report. They'd show us what they did after work..and everything..haha...

We're supposed to have patience with the players patience with the coaches, patience with the owner and now you want us to have patience with the announcers. Come on this is not the area where i should have to have patience, especially when the person we had before was doing a good job. I know Lisa wasn't perfect and a beauty queen but she was easy to look at and listen too and she knew her role. Why fire someone for the sake of change and then bring in someone who doesn't know what they are doing. We had the best and then we bring in feeble minded person just because they are supposed to have alot of basketballl knowledge when it is clear the person we already had in the position was better. Oh wait we are talking about Lisa Malosky Not Rudy. Seriously Coop is terrible. She is not very attractive. She doesn't know the NBA game or doesn't know how to articulate it (either way she doesn't convey the knowledge to the audience). She thinks she's cute and funny when she's not. She has a terrible annoying voice that makes dog's howl, whales beach in New england and me search for the mute button on the remote. And I think I understand their point of wanting to bring in someone with more basketball knowledge. But she doesn't have it or should I say if she does, she certainly doesn't know how to articulate it. Yes she was a star in the WNba and that does count for something. But only in the WNBA. What I hate most about it is that she is stealing time from Calvin and Bill. I don't want her answering the halftime question. She just doesn't have the knowledge of Calvin. Calvin runs circles around her and is whittier than her and more entertaining. And thats coming from someone who isn't Calvins biggest fan. She is not in his league. And that's because she was in the WNBA league. I think almost any NBA player would do better than her for analysis. Now if you just want her as an alternative to the male point of view fine. than do that. But in my opinion the whole point in having a woman is so that you can have a prettier face to look at besides CAlvin and Bills ugly faces. Why give us another ugly face to go along with calvin and Bill's. At least bring in Sheryl swoopes who is alot better looking. Otherwise stick with another knowledgeable NBA player like Bullard that would be better if you are not going for looks. My biggest problem with her is they are not even smart enough to see she is a downgrade of an announcer than almost for certain got the job because of Les just as JVG did. So why are we so convinced that Les is anymore knowledgeable in judging coaching than he is in picking announcers. Yet everyone is so convinced that JVG is so much better than Rudy. The fact is Les would have been selecting JVG if it was for the anouncer spot instead of Coop, but as a coach?
That's quite a reach there. Rudy wasn't doing his job as well as Lisa was doing hers, and Jeff Van Gundy has experience coaching while Coop has no experience broadcasting. Your analogy doesn't hold water.
