I could be remembering wrong, that pic was taken during game 7 when the Lakers where kicking our ass. Ron was trying to keep the youngsters spirits up, I do miss that guy...and especially Mandry.
I was actually in favor of either benching Martin for Lee or trading Martin. Martin can't create his own shot if his life depended on it and watching him hunt for those fouls instead of just making the shot is down right atrocious.
Why no one misses T-mac .. he actually kept this team relevant throughout the years when he was still healthy.
Uh, no...that would be stupid. Why? Because Carl Landry is an unrestricted Free agent, if the Rox want him back they can get him without giving up anyone after this season. And Brooks is just as important in late game situations as Landry. I would rather have them both.... DD
Finally, some much needed love for AB!! Getting kinda tired of all those postings bashing his talent. We need some scoring talent because although Lowry is a pass-first pg, we need someone who can shoot out the lights
Wow. I would be very surprised If he isn't back in the next week or so... I hope DM makes a move to embrace the tanking and go young, If that's the case.
Keeping them out as long as they have could be the tanking plan. If Brooks is back in 3, and Yao in 6(3 for injury and 3 to get in game shape), by the time they get back we'll be too far under to make it back to .500(barring a 22 game win streak. ).
Yao's is the one that is baffling, it was relatively minor, most guys either play on, or sit out a weekish with that injury. They are being really really cautious with him......and if that is their strategy going forward, this season is a wash. DD
I miss AB, but truthfully everything associated with this season save the usual steady performances by Scola, Martin, Hayes and the surprise of Ishmael Smith has under performed. I hope that once he gets back from rest Brooks will be able to help carry the team offensively but it will still be a struggle, with or without Yao.
