Yeah but if he didn't "name-drop" everybody would be all accusatory and asking about where he got his information (despite the fact that the info isn't all that surprising) so it's really a no win situation
I agree - I think we are going sg/sf or sf/pf types in the draft. Someone to spell Tmac and also either play D on the quicker forwards or shoot the 3. I think the PF/C type we need will come through free agency and that Greek dude may come in to add depth to the PG/SG spot (... like we don't have enough of those )
This is one of the main reason i dont post **** on here, cause it will get bashed on by members. Whatever...
You know, Mike, it really wasn't bad. One person claimed I should have been more discreet, but other than that everyone has seemed pretty appreciative.
Yeah i know.....im not specifically talking about this thread. Overall, alot of ppl seem to be out just to bash someone for any comment they make..its pretty ridiculous.
Unfortunate but sometimes very true. I don't post a lot on this board, more so in the hangout, but I've been reading for years. I'm sure there are plenty of others out there like myself who appreciate this kind of info, ESP during the slow offseason. thanks jmw for the news.........now go find some more
Exactly. When people hear the word "vet" they are thinking Oakley, but vet could easily mean Swift. It just doesnt mean a rookie. I am sure the Rockets take the Best Player Available in the draft, but my gut tells me it will be a swingman (instead of a PF) and then we get our PF with the MLE.
If Spanoulis is indeed ready then you bring him in, our 1st round pick likely to be a swingman and Mike James....and immediately you have improved our perimeter quickness. And that's without even making any trades.
thanks for the info, jm. I agree with those who mentioned Marshall and Kurt Thomas. They seem like the most realistic possibilities for veteran PFs, at this point, and maybe even SAR.
