Do you like to call religious shows as well with your story? <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1jkaqJMFmBs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I read the thread title, got up to the 2nd sentence and was too pissed off to read the rest. I don't care what your excuse was, there is never, EVER a reason to hit a woman. I don't care how she needled you or what horrible things she said. Those are just words. And as a man, you have to man up and control your emotions and keep your fists to yourself. I'm sure others have told you what a horrible thing it is in this thread, but let me tell you from another perspective of how damaging these experiences can be. I grew up in a household where my parents were not exactly the best of friends. We kept up a lovely facade as the perfect family to the neighborhood and friends, but behind closed doors they were always arguing. It wasn't always that way, but it kept escalating day by day, week by week, month by month, then year by year. I couldn't take it anymore, but didn't have much of a choice. Finally **** hit the fan when my father struck my mother. Worst day ever, except for the fact that it wasn't the last day it happened. It spiraled downword, and I pleaded to my mother to get a divorce. I guess she was more afraid of change then violence, and told me if someone had to go you're old enough to do it. I packed up all I could in 2 bags and called my relatives in the next state. It took a train, bus, and a taxi that totalled almost 20 hours total, but I made it. I don't want anyone to experience what I did. I swore to myself I would never be in that kind of relationship, much less have a child to witness such a thing. During that trip I had a lot to think about and realized that this was a new beginning, to forgive my parents but swear to abandon contact with them and leave those traumatic years behind. As the trip completed that evening, I realized this was a new beginning. I reached an inner peace. I bid adieu to my cab driver, and walked up the steps. When I arrived at the doors I was finally there, to sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-Air. I also promised to never repeat old internet memes but sometimes the keyboard cat takes over. Play him off!
I read the entire post and thought WTF!? at the twist rather than laughing. I don't really get the joke. And yes, I have watched the Fresh Prince back in the days when it ran, so I picked up on that very quickly. I like offensive jokes as much as anyone, but I can't see how this is funny.
I made it through the end of the story and I have to admit I was a little disappointed myself. It sounds like she deserved to get punched.
OK so dude, does your gf (or ex now I assume) know you moved to Bel Air? You should really call her and apologize or try to make it right before she gets the court into all this. I don't know how moving to Bel Air is any good because she can still find you if she wants.
I guess I just don't get you kiddos these days. Why the hell y'all think a "Fresh Prince" "meme" is so damn funny confounds me. It's old. It's stupid. It isn't even funny. Now, don't get me wrong. I know the world doesn't move to the beat of just one drum. And what might be right for me might not be right for some. But y'all were BORN when I was in my teens. And then along come you tools, who don't even realize chili ain't got no beans!

You still expect something this season? I'm just seeing what the Texas Tech season has in store. I've already blown off all of Houston's 2011 squads.
CF boards is blessed to have a guy like Fatty FatBastard... Fatty is becoming one of my favorite if not the one that I look up to the most, very insightful opinions and truthful.. Yeah Meme's were never funny to me, the Fresh Prince is ok and I did enjoy the Rick Roll'd back when that was rolllin all over the interwebs...
Yeah, i really don't get it either. I mean, sure the fresh prince song is known by all but that doesnt mean it's funny. It reminds me of a get toogether i was having and i invited my buddy. I told him to just come and knock on my door. When greeting him i said, we've been waiting for you. Where the kisses are hers and hers and his...three's company too!
