look dude, i didn't grow any "huevos"... ok? i've had more than my share of self-confidence and self-image issues... everyone has confidence issues at some time in their life, no matter how they were raised... but its how you deal with them that counts... i was just trying to make the observation that a lot of the people around here seem to do more talking and overanalysis of minute interactions with the opposite sex, rather than just say "to heck with it" and dive in... you say some people are good at basketball, and some aren't... does that mean that the people who aren't should just sit around and complain about how bad they are at it.. why not practice... but don't be so hypercritical of yourself or the minor interactions b/t yourself and the object of your desires while you practice! that's not attractive at all not to sound sexist, but i always thought women were the one's who overanalyzed every little thing and that men just lived by the phrase "Whatever..." but maybe i'm wrong, stranger things have happened!
seeing as how i am probably outnumbered by a HUGE margin from others on this board, i'll just say that i've said my peace and instead of wasting everyone's time... i won't bother you guys with my thoughts about it anymore, i'll just ignore the threads that match what i'm talking about, ok?

Call me crazy, but seeing as this is a MESSAGE BOARD, I would think that you would end up seeing more discussion on it than "diving in." When someone "dives in", they don't normally go talking about it on the BBS. So what seems like a lot of discussion and analysis probably isn't really that much considering there are 4000 people registered on this BBS. But keep up with the over-generalizations. They seem to really be working well for you.

this thread really can die now... This awful relationship has finally come to a close. I can not help but be appalled with myself for letting it continue on for the past 3 years. I might leave this relationship with a lot of pain and hurt, but I did gain a very important life’s lesson from it: I shouldn’t sell myself short for anything or anyone EVER.
