Cat, thanks for the insight into the declining standards of the Texas educational system.

No damn way I'm voting for Bush now. [IMG]

We could go on Swopa. What was my SAT score? 1420. Where will I go to college? In all likelihood, Rice. I'm also in the national "Who's who" program, dedicated to the top 5% of students in the entire nation. Other than that, I'm in things like the National Honor Society, I hold an office in Student Council, I was sports editor of our newspaper last year, I will be editor-n-chief next year, etc. Yeah I must be pretty dumb. Well, the fact is, that whenever you are rooting for a team, you are obviously more prone to remember the calls and injustices against your team. I felt the officiating was pretty even on boths sides last night, with many erroneous decisions made by the referees for both sides. I don't really care which team wins (just not the ones in yellow and purple).

The over-the-back call on Shaq which fouled him out of the game was not an over-the-back from what I saw. Shaq jumped first, straight up for the rebound, and almost had it in his hands, when Rik Smits suddenly jumped in from the right side and bumped into Shaq. That sent Smits flying out of bounds, while Shaq came down pretty straight. That should not have been a foul.

Also, Reggie traveled on at least 2 possessions in overtime, including the final shot, and the referees made no call. Both the refs and NBC gave the Pacers ample opportunity to win this game, and they almost did, but a silly mistake by Dale Davis cost them big time.

Almu- yeah I'll try and tone it down. But if someone here is going to insult me personally and my intelligence, then they are going to get all of those accomplishments I've done shoved down their throat. I'll try to tone it down about the Lakers. I really will. But if someone is critical of me or my intelligence, then they are going to get it and I won't tone it down then. That is not something that I put up with.

    Swopa,

    That is...scary!

That goes to prove that what the NBA/NBC does is hard work. They started practicing game 4 in 1999!!

What else can explain how good game 4 was? Practice. Practice. Practice.
