Watching Hawkins leaving the court at the end of the game with Rudy talking to him, an arm across his shoulder, was really a nice moment. It's early days, but there are some good things happening. The defence is improving... will they figure out the offence?? Stay tuned.

I was surprised the Rockets cut Oscar Torres in favor of the Hawk, but, after watching him in the Denver game, I have become a believer. He displayed grit, hustle, court intelligence, shooting touch and, dare I say it, defense.

this is the give him some love and let's be positive thread!

    no whiners here!

Hawkins plays great heads up D and can shoot!

how did everyone miss him, but Scotty Brooks (which he wears #1 to thank him for recommending him to Rudy)!

I guess Scotty got over the Rudy cutting incident 7 years ago :)

Does Scotty get something for this....you know, something for the effort....little something something.....some jing?

Hawkins looks fierce and fast too.

LOL! That's funny... and true. We have too many players and Rice, Thomas, Boki and Tmo at the 3 is amajor logjam... Boki probably saw more minutes last night than he will see for a long time... Ditto Collier when Kenny and MoT are back... And with Cato playing as good as he ever has Ming will be spending more time on the bench than on the floor for a while...

The problem is no one is head and shoulders better than the backup at the 3,4, and 5 so there will be some unhappy people on the sidelines for a while... and to think we had to let Langhi and Walt go just to make room for these guys... I don't envy Rudy's job

Yes, he takes nothing for granted! He's been around too many places
to "be lazy" or "not play defense."

    He's a well rounded player!

Honestly guys. I like him. I like the fact that he looks to pass. Sounds like something small but on this team it means alot. But, I don't believe he will be on this team for the entire year.
