I'm another who doesn't like to mix holidays so for me and my family there is no talk of christmas before thankgiving dinner has been eaten. After that it's fair game.
I love Christmas time....and this is my first Christmas with my wife...the first Christmas where we get to have our own tree and stockings on the mantle. It is almost a little surreal that I have the start of my own family and my own family traditions. Its quite exciting. (Still going to parent's house for Christmas dinner, though) Its pretty great, and I'm stoked about tonight because my wife and I are going to see Harry Connick Jr. and Jones hall tonight. It is his holiday show, one night only in Houston. Should be a blast, I love his Christmas album. The program says he sings some of his other songs as well, I hope he sings "It Had to be You." That's the song my wife and I did our first dance to at our wedding (its a little different and we were a little silly with the dance, but totally worth it). Anyways, Merry Christmas everybody (in November)!
