Man. That Morey. Really knows how to pick out studs in Free Agency! First he gets us megastar, super-clutch Trevor Ariza. Then he gets us super-intelligent, freakishly good Brad Miller! What a clutch showing by Brad tonight! He single handedly gave the game to the Suns on a silver platter! God. I wish every player on our team was like Brad. In all seriousness, Morey should be able to draft/trade whoever he wants. But somebody needs to lock him in a closet during free agency period. His free agency signings have been horrible. Trevor, I could understand was a reasonable pick-up gone bad. But Brad... there was no rhyme or reason to sign this POS to a three-year contract for that amount of money.
Not his best game tonight but the guy has kept the second unit together more often than I can remember this season. But rail on.
We didn't expect Yao to be out for the year again. B Miller was signed to play 15 minutes a game as a backup. Also hurts not to have Scola and it sucks to be playing another back-to-back game against a team who is also fighting for the playoff spot.
I like Brad Miller. On the whole, he's helped the team. He's made some big mistakes this year (this game, and the Chicago game come to mind), and he's not a good defender or rebounder. I understand that. But he has had a very positive impact on the offense, and the younger PFs (Hill/Patterson) have played better when he's on the floor.
Miller has been useless since he came back from his knee issues and his defense is a major black whole. That said, the guy can REALLY pass and shoot which when he plays 15 minutes a night usually is a positive, not so much when he plays more then that.

Now he's backing up a 6'6 center named Chuck Hayes. Does that make Brad Miller look any better as a player? But what does he care he's a millionaire he is laughing on his way back to the bank.
Honestly though, can we say that we expected Yao to play a good portion of the season... Without bias, probably not.
