yes, i think his D needs to be improved. I at least twice saw the opponent cut through the baseline by him and make an easy layup .
he does lack speed and his defense is a little weak. but i would have like for him to get the ball downlow. at times he was right under the basket and no one gave him the ball!!! Thats where deke is not good anymore. if jake plays with tmac, he will get a lot of easy baskets that deke cant convert. im not saying play him over deke, but he can get mutombo a much needed rest. and this was a good trade.
