These stats are terrible! Kawhi lenard, paul george, and tony allen are monster defenders and its not all about steals.

By the way, we all love Harden but the margin for error in winning a championship is so small that having a huge weakness will always sway the odds against you. If you look at all the teams that win they play shutdown defense almost 9/10 times. Dwight really does take the Rockets to the next level but it doesn't mean that defense is not a concern.

Also, there is nothing wrong with criticizing people you like and love. You should be pushed to improve where you are weak. F**k YMCA sports with the "we are here to have fun" mentality. We came here to chew bubble gum and kick the other teams ass and we are all out of bubble gum. Some of us have a high testosterone level and we can't help it. Like Tiger when he was banging every woman in sight. So lets not be nice to an over paid basketball player. Let's expect more so that he earns his money. He doesn't like running around to catch JJ Redick. Well, I say he should! Hey Toyota Center bartender, another beer so that Harden can get paid. Cheers!

This is stupid. All young players have things to work on. Harden should work on his defense and his turnovers. Howard should work on his post moves and free throw shooting. Lin should work on his defense and his turnovers. Parsons should continue working on his hair.

pretty sure they're all aware of their weaknesses and are working hard improving them

but do people have to create a new thread on the GARM if Howard misses 3 FTs in a row night or if an opponent blows by Harden or Lin ?

WTF...!!! Why he only got one chick

Look at his body. This is why I say he's not lazy _ he just gets tired and with the minutes he plays he takes plays off. They have him listed at 220 _ but he looks around 230-240... He's still walking around with baby fat. I'm sure Harden works hard but I bet he would be a lot more explosive if he dropped 10 pounds.

Harden uses his mass very well to bully his way into the lane, and he's plenty explosive enough to get by his man and finish with contact. Dropping weight would only hinder his play.

He doesn't bully he euro steps and or makes defenders look like they are on ice. And there's nothing wrong with being more explosive. He's amazing now. But I think dropping a few pounds would make him even better. But just my opinion.

    Bon voyage!, you two.

OP is so right. The whiners were not here through our Trevor Ariza days, want bball to work like a video game.

People who think Harden is out of shape are not in shape themselves, obviously: don't know what in shape means, think it's like a Calvin Klein ad.

If you're not glad Harden is on the Rockets, you're not a Rockets fan.

Everyone can elevate their game. Parsons, Lin, Bev, Dwight, Harden, everyone.

Are you saying we should be content because Harden isn't Trevor Ariza?

Harden doesn't meet your lofty standards as a Rockets fan, huh? How priggish are you, exactly?

I was here during the Trevor days. The Moochie and Drew days as well. Swift...Lol.. I even remember the 6th Man of the year we got from Utah... Smh..

No where did I say Harden was out of shape... So I can't debate you over something I didn't say.

And I'm very happy to have Harden on the team. He's the best player the Rockets have had since Dream in my opinion. But I still think he can be in better conditioning for what he's asked to do and the extensive minutes he plays.

Obviously I'm happy we've got Harden and not Kmart/Ariza. Watching us trying to make him a #1 option was just painful as hell. Literally so bad.

I'm merely saying every player has things to work on. GOSH

One thing about James is he is versatile. not only is he our best scorer, but he is our number 1 playmaker and assists getter. PJ Carlisimao or whatever his name is said it best, Harden is the engine because he does so many things for this team.

I don't like the beard as he is now. But at the same time I accept his limitations. Harden is a superstar, but he's more in the CP3/Melo/Westbrook range more than the Lebron/Durant/Prime-Kobe range. I can definitely accept him never becoming the best player in the game at any time. But at the same time he can definitely improve.

The idea that if Harden doesn't improve then we can't win is ludicrous. Basketball is a team game. If Harden's not Lebron, then Morey just need more talent around Harden than Lebron had. Celtics, Mavs, Spurs have all shown you can contend just fine by having multiple 2nd-tier stars and a great cast.

Harden is starting to become Rockets K-Mart 2.0 with bad defense and lack of clutch shooting but better playmaking.

The playmaking is what makes Harden not K-Mart 2.0
