Hey No Worries, I think you have high hopes for Griffin. In my opinion, He is going to blow up after his second year like Francis will this year. Watch Out.

This thread sounds like Spin City with everyone trying to downplay or lessen the disaster of losing an essential ingredient of the Rockets. Kenny has his good points, but he is no Mo. IMO, we need to get a backup center for Cato, shift Collier to PF (his natural position), and let KT and Griffin -- depending on the situation and opponent -- back up Collier. The lineup would then be:
    Franis / Norris
    Mobley / Williams
    Rice / Morris and/or Langhi
    Collier / KT and/or Griffin
Cato / (Santiago or Bagarac or Jackson or White or someone)

Get well, Mo. The Rockets need you.

oooh oooh...can I play the No Worries game!!

This year Kenny will get 10 rpg and win Most Improved Player award....Griffen will sit there drinking milk and grow 2 inches.

A year from now Griffin and Cato will fight for minutes and Mo/Kenny will resume their splendid sharing of duties.

Two years from now, Eddie will punch Cato and Shaq in the same fight....oh, and he will be the starter.

Three years from now, Eddie should be an all-star.

Four years from now, Eddie should be league MVP.

Five years from now, Eddie should be the NBA championship MVP.

From what I saw, Kenny was the better 3-point shooter(Mo didn't shoot too many), but as far as consistency inside the arc, mo was much better than Thomas.

Not if Steve is winning those awards.

I disagree with you on starting Collier at PF. Kenny Thomas sure has gotten his share of grief here, but I think he would match up better overall against the other 4s than Collier. Plus Collier may beat out Cato for the starting 5 spot if Cato doesn't get his a** in gear.

You don't help your position when you can't even comprehend what others write. Slow down. Look closer. Those are per 48 minute numbers, not per game.
