Wow you are so naive. The reason this trade hasn't happened is because Miami is expecting the Bulls will select Rose with their pick. Since they don't want beasley they are looking for a trade. If this trade went down and Bulls selected someone else...not named Derrick Rose. Then Miami would lose out on Rose because they allready made the trade. Miami wants Derrick Rose and they get the feel that they won't get him which is why they are shopping the pick.

ok fine fine i apologize for calling you naive, but my point is still valid. Miami is really actually considering that Memphis trade and there is no superstar there. Yes, their offer is better than ours, but the fact still remains that Miami isn't going to trade the pick before the draft because anything could play out.

Thats sarcasm right? You trade Battier for the second pick in the draft all day. The problem is that no one would trade the second pick for Battier. Miami is not that stupid.
Conley a young potential franchise PG. Mike Miller is a lights out shooter and a veteran 5th pick of the draft only 3 picks down from 2 and still a potential superstar. That is a lot for the 2nd pick and a lot more than anything the Rockets could put together.
He shouldn't be a starter at all, he makes a good sixth man. So if we can trade him for any decent SG I am happy.
And just exactly why would anyone think any different? Because he did not average 25 pts and 12 assists his rookie year? The kid is still just 20 years old and only 1 year in the league. He did nothing last year that would temper previous expectations.
