Miami is trading the #2 pick overall for a PG as it looks and a veteran to go along with marion and wade. Houston Arron Brooks (Hate to see him go) Luther Head Shane Battier #25 for #2 overall Daquan Cook Mark Blount (absorb his ridiculous contract) Aaron Brooks- Miami wants a PG for the future and they get a solid one that can definately run the ball. Hopefully they bite but doubt it. This is best PG bait we have Luther Head- We wanted to let him go and with Marion and Wade penetrating he could fit their system nicely #25 pick- Entice them with something Battier- Hate to see batman go, but I feel that they would want him in return for Beasley #2 pick- This is what we really wanted Draft Beasley Cook- A solid role player than can play back up 2 and isn't undersized Blount- we take on his bad contract so miami sends the pick In the second round, we draft Shan Foster. Resulting Lineup C: Yao/ Deke/ Blount PF: Scola/ Landry/ Hayes SF: Beasley/Novak/Harris SG: Tmac/Cook/Foster PG: Alston/Bjax/Francis Big Question is if Miami thinks this is the best deal, but i made this thread so before someone else offers something crazy for the #2 pick. I thought I'd be the first crazy fan to try to get Beasley
Wait thats the reason you thought it was crazy...lol I know its a farfetched Idea and my mindset going into the trade was ok if we had to do this trade what do we have to give to get Beasley. This was the best i came up with to make it even. I know its out there but eh i know it was a risky move but we do want to win now
Well so far on the rumors ive heard. The best offer that Miami has on the table is Conley + Miller + 5th pick for Blount + 2th pick So you tell me...no superstar there
Isn't there already a thread for this? We'd better get at least a dozen new basketballs out of this also.
Oh no trust me when i say this, I am a huge Battier fan. It just seemed that he would be the only thing that Miami would want that would put us over the top. I'd hate to see him go
I'd actually do that if i were Miami, i got a bad feeling about beasley..attitude wise.....Conley will get it done, miller will fit great and that #5 could be a starter right away
That ain't good enough either, but it is a million times better than the nonsense this thread is based on. You want the number 2 pick, at a minimum you will have to include Scola, Battier, 25th (and this probably wouldn't do it either). It will probably take T-mac and Battier for Marion, #2, and whatever fodder to make the salaries match and I don't think Miami would do that either. Why am I even bothering. This is way too out there.
