I know it's been beat to death, but where are the lower bowl folks?

The Rockets are one of the only teams in the league that has their Club Level seating within the actual lower level. 90+% of the NBA arenas have it on the second tier of seating (see Mavs, Lakers, Bulls, many other arenas).

The Rockets East & West Club is the nicest part of the arena and has exclusive access to bars (and alcohol doesn't shut off until 1hr after the game, not the end of the 3rd like rest of the arena) better concessions, private entrance and restrooms, wider seating, conceierge service, etc. So comparing comparable pricing for seating locations at other venues in which their seats are not premium is not fair.

I agree it is annoying that the seats in the Club are not always full, but not every fan in there is the corporate type. My wife and I have season tickets in 121 and I am always in my seat by introductions, wearing red and cheering on my Rockets. There's always people eating t the ledges that overlook the court, hanging out at the bar. It sucks but I don't blame people for taking advantage of the amenities that they pay for. And without this premium seating and those people and companies buying those tickets there would be no Dwight.

 

Kinda ironic that some people piss on people who get free lower bowl tickets and that's what the Rowdies get. I know they get the tickets for manufactured hype but still..... There a lots of "true fans" in the lower bowl who may or may not appear that way to others.
