Well, "The playbook" may be likely but it's not guaranteed. I don't care how "crooked" you think the officials are and how many conspiracy theories you throw out, a team can surpass bad officiating. Officials could poison a game or two, but short of another big scandal in the NBA, I believe playoff games are decided by the teams that play them.

Even games 2 and 5 and whatever other games the refs sucked on in this series, the Rockets still made their share of mistakes in those games (especially game 5).
