Finding roaches is bad enough and I am gonna have my room fumigated but what's really weird is I'm finding them dead and torn apart: some of them have their heads cut off, others are torn up from the abdomen. I find them in pretty open spaces where there really aren't items that could've crushed them. I also don't have any pets. Any ideas?
We also used to have a lot of roach corpses on one of our old uncleaned rooms. It turns out they have been sharing the place with a few big Huntsman Spiders.
That's ****ing frightening. unless you start finding like their severed heads propped up on toothpicks for display around your house. That would be awesome. and also ****ing frightening.
Philippines, this specie of spider is quite common throughout the world, but i guess some of the larger ones are typically found in tropical/equatorial countries and in Australia.
Damn, and I'm disgusted/slightly scared of the small spiders we have here. If I'd meet one of these ones I'd burn down the whole f##kin house haha. That's why I'll never move to Australia or another tropical country, some of the animals there are just horrifying. Kudos to you.
Sleep's been a challenge. First time I saw a roach was at night, crawling on the floor. Tried to kill it but it slipped behind the curtains and disappeared. It wasn't an adult, yet. I've tried sleeping with the light on since. A few days after, I woke up to find a roach with its head lying a short distance away. It didn't looked crushed - it looked cut. Then, yesterday, I found 3 roach carcasses by my window. One was still whole. One was crushed between my sliding window, which was weird considering I've practically never opened that window. The last one was severed in half. Small insects were hovering over them - their young? Getting rid of the bodies wasn't such a big deal until I felt how sharp their legs were. Needle sharp - I almost pricked myself. I sprayed Raid all over the spots and cracks where I found 'em today. I did find a spider but it was a small web making one which I tried to save but it ran away. I hope it survived. Still dunno why those roach carcasses keep popping up but I hope they stop now. I don't wanna go to sleep thinking I'll wake up finding one crawling over me. One stormy night, when I was a kid and I was still sleeping with my parents, I woke up after touching one and immediately woke my parents up. When they turned on the lights, roaches ****ing everywhere - all over the bed, the walls, the floor - it was like a scene out of a horror movie. I don't want to experience that again.
Time to put the ole night cam to use. Anything is possible after watching all 3 paranormal activity movies.
