Think about it... Rockets vs Jazz in the playoffs. If you watched this with her, she'd actually root against the Rockets and be happy if the Rockets lose.... Would you be able to tolerate that from ur gf?
I understand it's a serious question, but there's so much comedy to mine here. On the serious side, if you like the girl, you'll find a way to cope. It would suck to root for different teams when the two teams met, especially if it was in the playoffs. But how often does that happen? You might even make it fun with sexual bets on the outcome. It would be a lot more difficult if one of you wanted kids and the other didn't. Or if one of you was vegetarian and the other a devoted carnivore, which would make most meals a compromise.
I don't know how you can do it, Glen. I dated a Mavericks fan and that of course ended. Her going out on a date while I was out of town played a small part in the break up but it was mostly about her being a Mavericks fan!!!
Seriously, this guy feeds off negative attention. <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://www.collegehumor.com/moogaloop/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=1926079&fullscreen=1" width="640" height="360" ><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"/><param name="wmode" value="transparent"/><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"/><param name="movie" quality="best" value="http://www.collegehumor.com/moogaloop/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=1926079&fullscreen=1"/><embed src="http://www.collegehumor.com/moogaloop/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=1926079&fullscreen=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="640" height="360" allowScriptAccess="always"></embed></object><div style="padding:5px 0; text-align:center; width:640px;">See more <a href="http://www.collegehumor.com/videos">funny videos</a> and <a href="http://www.collegehumor.com/pictures">funny pictures</a> at <a href="http://www.collegehumor.com/">CollegeHumor</a>.</div>
