You're beginning to lose steam here...either that or your sarcasm meter (with regards to real_egal's post) was broken...
Actually,I am big fan of YaoMing, and I wont deny that I am watching NBA again b/c of him. Seeing him being taken down by a nobody and subsequently losing the game really pains me, and I think most of other fans who care about the team feel the same way. I really hope Yao will learn something from this incident and like what you said, be better in the long run.
oic, then you're actually just a YOF from China who's doing the old "make outrageously inaccurate accusations so that others will have no choice but to compliment Yao in an effort to deflect your r****ded criticism". Is this what you're angling for? Stupid Chinese people, so fake
" Why don't you stop acting like a little kid and fast forward to 2005. The whole YOF thing got used, abused, and thrown out a while ago"
I, for one, loved that Yao was taking those last shots, it obviously would have been better if they went in but it was a good step forward for him to take those shots and also for the team to get him the ball as many times as they did. AS for the "fight"... I don't think it effected Yao at all or hurt his image.. there was more tension between juwan and Mason than Yao and Mason. Mason is basically a nobody in this league, Yao would have to be stupid to retaliate to this little punk who over reacted. If anything, Yao could have set a hard pick on him or foul him hard later in the game, or throw a monster one down and glare at him while getting back on defense.. to me, thats worth more than a punch (for this occation, sometimes knuckleheads deserve one)
HTML: Yes Yao, punch or push Mason back. Start a fight, get suspended for a couple of games with TMac already out. Hell if we're lucky, it escalates to the Ron Artest situation and we lose you for more than just a couple of games. So what if we lose the games, at least you got your revenge. HTML: Amazing to me how after last year's fiasco in Detroit, there are any NBA fans who want their own players to escalate those kinds of situations. HTML: You're a moron. Uhh, actually yeah dude. Yao perhaps SHOULD push Mason after getting punched in the head and thrown down on the floor. The thing is, he didn't know that it wasn't intentional since he had his head turned, so from Yao's perspective, he got knocked over on his as*, and then punched and kicked or whatever. Yeah I think he should push Mason away and risk a game or two of suspension. BIG F*CKING DEAL dude. Sometimes you have to go backwards to be able to go forward more. You guys all rationalize this bullsh*t by saying "oh well he knows T-mac is not playing so that's the reason he shouldn't do anything". We're 2 games into the season! Now is the time to establish our selves. I'm PRETTY DAMN SURE that if he got up and PUSHED Mason away he would not get a harsh penalty. I'm guessing at the maximum MAYBE a 1 game suspension but I really doubt it. He would be protecting him self from his perspective and it's not like he's punching him. So yeah, I think it would have been a very good idea.
hahaha, sorry for the werid looking HTML post. I'm not sure how to really quote somebody like everybody else does. I see the # option that allows you to wrap something in quotes but it always cuts off any sections that have a space between paragraphs. Plus I'm not sure how to get someones name to show up there as well. Silly, but any help is appreciated.
