preseason game 1. Harden+Lin+Howard played so well. Why would you bench all of them?

well... technically, that's how you fight brush fire. you can burn a line in advance of the fire so that when the fire gets to that point, there's nothing to burn.

and i did stay at the holiday inn express last night.

Best response I've seen so far, with the slight exception that Harden will probably play 36 to 38 minutes on average. Anyone who thinks Harden or Howard will play less than 36 minutes a game (unless we are blowing out a team) doesn't what McHale will most likely do given his previous coaching history.

I think if you want to compete for a championship THIS YEAR, you don't mess with the starting lineup from last year other than figuring out who your starting PF is going to be. You are already working in Dwight, so that only leave 3 starters from last year that have consistent chemistry with each other. If you take Lin out of the starting LINeup, you end up with 3 new starters on this year's team....which will probably result in a much longer time to gell with chemistry, thus losing a few potential games that could cost playoff seeding at the end of the year.

Plus, it TOTALLY F's up the pregame ritual that we all love so much!
