I STILL BELIEVE THE HOUSTON OILERS STILL HAVE A CHANCE AT THE SUPERBOWL.

A FEW MORE 1 RD PICKS AND SOME GOOD COACHING AND WE CAN MAKE THE SUPERBOWL NEXT YEAR.

Our team is not bad, its just that a lot of the other teams are a little better. Every team will have their day one day or another and it will be our turn again soon.

Lovin' the Rockets is like going out boozin' every night, getting totally smashed, and waking up with the world's biggest and most painful hangover, and then doing it all over again the next day.

I know the consequences of my actions will most likely hurt, but I do it anyways cause I'm addicted and I can't stop even if I wanted to. Which I don't.

    Ride or Die!!!!!!!

    oh yeah...

and absolutely a Rocket's fan here. Through the good and the bad.

I can't say the same for the astros or the oilers... Now the Texans are another story. go texans. My theory was that the oilers magic had traveled up I-45 and landed in Dallas. That was before Parcells showed up. I haven't lost faith in the Cowgirls though. Jerry Jones could still do something incredibly egotistical and moronic.

When I was in high school I started cleaning Rudy's pool out at his lake house. The guy was such a cool cat but just once, while that smell of the BBQ was wafting over my leaf net, I wanted him to say, "hey man... you want one of these steaks?"

Was playing down on the Richmond Strip in a coverband during the latter half of the championship runs... that was another world during those days. Hakeem... Hero... "stay humble and hungry". You follow those words in life and you go far I think.

then we decided to go for all the old players who used to be good... Pippen... Barkley... Kinda like the Lakers are doing now. You got maybe two or three years out of the most durable of their new guys. Maybe a championship or two out of those years if they manage to make it to the end of the seasons. If they win this year I suppose Malone calls it quits.

hmm... now that I think about it... I think Rudy was cooking hamburgers in the early days.

I have been fed up with the Rocket's play, but I am a fan, and I will never stop watching every game I have the oppurtunity to watch.

The last Rocket's game I watched was on at 4:30am for me. i woke up at 4:10am on 4hrs of sleep to watch them beat the Lakers. Damn that was sweet.

The very act of checking this site means that you haven't given up.

Even if you want to take a hacksaw to Les, Van Gundy, the players, the ballboys, the drummers, and for some irrational reason the entire nation of China . . . even then, if you're reading this board, by very definition you haven't given up.

Giving up means not caring. This bbs has many, many different flavors of posts. Sarcastic, analytical, knee-jerk emotional, ecstatic, grumpy, cynical, rose-colored, etc. The variety makes things fun. But I've never seen any posters that don't care.

If they didn't care, they wouldn't be here.
