Please provide quotes before every game proving the above statement. You can't. He's a tough player still getting it done at 32 - stop hating.

Maybe he misplaced it during his frantic rape spree?

I'm not surprised about the situation, considering how hard he's gone at it for so many years. I'm a little surprised that he admitted this so candidly, though. Kobe's always been really guarded, even defensive at times, about his health issues and how they effect his play.

Not only did he shoot 40% last year, his career Finals FG% is 40%. His poor shooting is often overcome by his teammates, which is what makes basketball a team sport. And Kobe an overrated chucker.

You're correct, I can't. However, I can tell you that every time Kobe goes through a spat of poor shooting performances, something comes out in the media about how his finger/knee/shoulder/etc is hurting and he's just a warrior playing through the pain (instead of, you know, resting or not taking 3x the shots as anyone else on teh team). Hmm, I wonder how that information got "leaked"? It's similar to how during the Finals all of a sudden Kobe's kids appear in the hallway to the lockerroom after the game, showing what a great family man Kobe is. The guy is a manufactured phony.

a phony? so you are saying kobe's injuries are fake, that he's faking them to get a pass, and the fact that his kids appear in hallway has nothing to do with the fact he's the finals mvp and his family wants to be there, back to back champ and finals mvp, deal with it

As I and many others have said before, without Kobe, the Lakers would fall like a stone. They are a talented team without him but they lack heart, fortitude & brains and would turn into mushy goo. I think a couple of people said last year the Lakers could still win 55+ games without Kobe. That is delusional.

Hear me out on this: Pau Gasol is the most talented 2nd fiddle in the NBA after Dwyane Wade. But without Kobe, he's like our miniature pet poodle who acts like a lion when we are around but turns into a complete wimp when she doesn't think we are there to protect her.

    (I exaggerate some for effect).

How it it delusional? When Kobe sat out, they went 4-1, beating SA, Utah, & Portland (where they hadn't won in years) and only losing to Boston by 1. Their record without Kobe is better than with him. Fact is, when Kobe is "injured" he is a detriment to the team since still takes way more shots than anyone else. If he would defer at those times he'd be an asset, but that's not in his makeup as a basketball player.

More like an attempt to justify his bad shooting by "leaking" that he allegedly has the same injury as Brandon Roy to the media. What a warrior! Maybe if Kobe is really that hurt, he shouldn't chuck 25 shots a game?

Since he came into the league he's never had his own personality. The guy has always copied Jordan like a little ****ing whinny puppet.

No offense but is Kobe your favorite player? Almost every post you make is about him.

As for winning it again, I don't think they stand a chance if theirs a Boston rematch and I think they'll get eliminated before the finals.

My opinion, don't bash me for it we'll see what happens
