I like players like Hayes, they contribute silently, work hard, doing the dirty work for the wins.
I think Hayes will get a much bigger contract with about 3-4 billion per year, 0.6 million is too less for him coz his contribution deserves more.

So uh... we uh... talking about how sexy we find other men?

...Not that there's anything wrong with that, but while we're at it can I add that Chauncy Billups is an ugly, ugly man. And not that I find it sexy or anything (BigBodyMoe might), but Deke's voice is the coolest thing I've ever heard. The first time I heard it I heard it off camera, and I was just like "holy crap!" Seriously, how many people do you think have been scared to death in the dark by Dikembe just saying "hello" in his "cookie monster meets native African" voice?

Furthermore, Chuck Hayes is the man. He's just the kind of player we need to put around Yao and Tracy if we're going to have a legit shot at title contension the next 5 years. He's tenacious, a hell of a rebounder, and not even in his prime yet... and he's one sexy piece of man.

You gotta love Chuck. I love how all the national media members are talking about him now, too. They've done their research, and it's so good to hear. Chuck and Shane, the PERFECT role players. Chuck was HUGE tonight. Like Dick Stockton or Mike Fratello said tonight (can't remember which one), "Where would the Rockets be in earlygoing without Chuck Hayes." Something similar to that... No matter how bad some of the guys might be shooting, we can always rely on those two to do the little things that are BIG.

I almost made a thread about Chuck after Game One. The man is so lovable! That play when he hustled for a defensive rebound and passed it out in time for a fast-break and clapped his hands violently almost brought tears to my eyes.

Don't know why but I feel our guys are so different from most other teams. All of them are very down-to-earth and lovable and well-behaved, not like the arrogant pr*cks on some of the other teams who always have an ignorant evil smile on their faces.(I'm looking at you Suns and the Fakers!)

I think however far we go in this playoffs, the guys will always have the whole-hearted support of the fans because we love them!!!

    GO ROCKETS!!!

Chuck Hayes is a player that you win championships with. He's the Rockets version of Dennis Rodman without the weirdness.

In this kind of playoff series against Utah, with this kind of physicality, Chuck is going to shine. Notice that he's not getting any of the ticky-tack calls that's killed him in the past. And not only can he stay on the floor, but he can play all-out and aggressive on both ends of the court without worrying about the refs taking him out of the game.

So far, he is the only player in true playoff mode. Playoffs, take it a level UP not DOWN! But winning is all that counts; however they won't win in Utah if they continue to shoot like this.

I have had a man crush on Chuck since he arrived. I love him as much as any heterosexual man can love a man he doesn't know personally. It approaches MadMax's love for Adam Everett. I've been wearing my Chuck jersey all year. Met only the second fan this year with a Chuck jersey Saturday night in Dave's section.

Chuck Hayes is an amazing story. He wasn't drafted, He's undersized at his position, played in the D-League, worked hard, got a 10 day contract or two, and now look at him. He has had to work hard, and make the most out of every opportunity he gets. He doesn't crave the spotlight, and goes largely unrecognized, yet never complains about it. As much as folks talk about Battier doing the intangibles, and things that don't show up in the stats so does Hayes.

He works hard every night, and every minute he's on the court. I would love to see Hayes get player of the game at least once.

I don't think Chuck will every be a player of the game, but that's alright. He just wants to help the team win. All out hustle and heart is what this guy has brought to every team he has played for. He's had a crazy couple of years, and getting a double double in his second playoff game, probably on no sleep with a newborn at home, is a great accomplishment.

It's fun to hear the national announcers say, there's Hayes with the rebound AGAIN! LOL

Shady, woman-crushes are okay too. :)

As long as they aren't stalker-like crushes, yall are all safe to have whatever crushes you want!

Chuck was really good in college at Kentucky. He is a great hustle player and is only in his second year players like that have a tendency to get better once they get more credit, Rodman, Wallace, etc. All we talk about on this board is we need a power forward or a point guard. With us having two dominate scorers who like to shoot we need Hayes as a starter. Just hope he can hire a shooting coach and learn to hit a open 12 footer and become a smaller version of Otis Thorpe. Also love his lateral quickness on defense I forgot Okur was even playing in the series oh thats' right Chuck has him on shutdown.

    Hayes earns it.

He earns his ten-day contract, starter pf, sexy gf, a baby and all the respect.

I wish I can fight my life like him, too much softness and lazyness lately, I shall make everyday of my life day meaningful like hayes did.

Doesn't he have a shoe contract in China?

If so, that is pretty awesome!
