I have my first interview in a while next week

    I sent emails to the people I interviewed with, wasn't sure to send it to the HR but I'll get right on that too.

    Its been a week since the interview. They were going to be interviewing until Friday. Should I call and inquire where they are on the selection process? What should I say?

    Really? I thought if it has been more than a week it's okay to call back.

    What I've heard is that its ok to call back to express your continuing interest in the position but not ask if they're close to making a decision. Its only been a week and they're hiring for June so they're probably still deciding.

    If you haven't thanked then, you can use that call back as an opportunity to remind them that you're not dead.

    I'd call back regardless since everything is business and they're being rudeasses if they expect you to value their company as a viable candidate for your services.
