God bless you all. So encouraging. ClutchFans is a family. Appreciate your prayers so very much. Hopefully, I will be all to post more in the future. Real slow, now. Picked up my spirits.
So sorry to hear that bro. I had an uncle that suffered a massive stroke more than 10 years ago and he was able to return to relatively normal after a long rehab. With the medical advances in the past 10 years, I hope you will have as speedy and as complete a recovery as possible.
Listen to this solid! Almost the exact same thing happened to my father. His Carotid artery was blocked and he had a stroke during one of the tests before surgery. They performed the operation and he was paralyzed on one side of his body. He had problems speaking and he couldn't walk. Slowly but steadily he improved day by day. Over a period of weeks and then months he continued to improve more and more. In less than a year you could barely tell he suffered a stroke. That happened 31 years ago and today he is a healthy 81 year old. Every patient is different so your recovery I'm sure will also be different, but there is no doubt in my mind that you will improve dramatically. Just try and be positive and work hard in rehabilitation. Wishing you good luck for a great recovery!!
Hang in there, solid. You're one of the good guys here and I'm expecting a solid recovery! This is not the way I wanted to discover someone here who types slower than I can. Get back to full speed soon!
Don't forget to pause and thank your doctors too, along with your own volition to get better. Hang in there.
Positive thoughts headed your way... Glad you're still with us. This could have been much worse indeed.
I've been reading your posts on here for so long, this hurt reading. I hope you have a fast recovery and please keep your spirits up.
