he's still arguably better but you've managed to think of 1 MLE guy

I'm not really arguing about what other MLE player is better then Trevor, I'm just saying it's very flawed logic (heh) to use the #1 pick overall to compare him to an MLE player.

Let's compare Kevin Durant to Shane Battier while we're at it...Durant makes less then Shane afterall...

Ariza cant hold Artest's jock on either end of the floor but the pickens are slim on MLE guys as good as Ariza

It is unreal...Trevor looks dumber than a box of hammers out there.....

But what is surreal is the lack of management accountabilty.

I honestly think the rest of the team is struggling because they are looking around and going...WTF is Trevor doing still in the game.

I haven't managed to think of 1 MLE guy. I've wasted my time to go look through players salaries to find a guy who meets your idiotic standards for a MLE/near-MLE player that plays better than Ariza. And you know what? There are probably plenty of them but I'm not going to waste my time trying to meet your salary specifications for players that are better than Ariza when you already know the answer and just want to act ignorant.

You go waste your time doing it.

oh please i'm just defending the ariza signing at MLE level $ and it's a legitimate point

It may be a legitimate point that he seemed like an MLE player before we got him...and that hindsight is 20/20 and that DM and a lot of us thought full well that he would BE an MLE-worthy (if not better) player when he got here....


It is, however, not a legitimate point that up to this point, his play and Trevor Ariza himself is worth the MLE...that's not a valid point, IMO...player after player who is paid less can prove that.
