When he comes back down to Earth? He's been shooting well all season. Meanwhile, we are waiting for Ariza to find Earth. He's lost somewhere by Jupiter.

Trevor is a system player who is $2mil. dolllars overpaid for what he does.

    In Morey I sorta trust.

It's like RA & DM have to play Ariza so it doesn't look like they made a mistake. I don't think RA has the balls to take him out of the starting lineup. They should man up and play hard ball like they did with Tmac...not saying that that was the best decision they made either.

Landry won't bring you a championship either. He's a role player.

If you want this team to contend, you should start praying for getting the 9th seed in the West and landing the 1st pick in the draft.

    OR

Pray that Kevin Durant/Chris Paul demand a trade out of their teams and want to play for the Rockets and only the Rockets.

So I guess you won't be happy for the foreseeable future.

At least 2 million overpaid....I think he is worth about 1-2 million a year tops.

Hell....if we had signed Von Wafer at 2 million the team would be MILES better.

No, he's been playing well for half a season.

He played like absolute garbage the first half of the season.

He was so bad that even DD said he was wrong about his praise for him!

    5. He can't create.

    6. He doesn't finish well.

    7. He has no hands....well, he does, but they're both left.

    8. He's not CLUTCH.

yeah i wont., but when i suggest tanking a bunch of you go apesh!t,. i know full well what brings a championship and atleast landry should start, get more minutes, more points to raise trade value and get traded. meanwhile scola is worthless in trade and wouldnt be on my team at all.

Never ever have I said I did not want Maggette......I think he has been perfect for this team, for YEARS !!!!

An efficient scoring wing like him would add 5 wins to our current total......

Heck....adding Von Wafer instead of Trevor we would be at least 3 games better IMO.

I've never heard of a team having to "promise playing time" to a player. If a player is playing like a bag of hammered dog crap, well then the team can make whatever moves necessary to help out the team. In this case, it would be sitting Ariza down...it would actually help out the team AND Ariza.

Et tu, Reeko? I tuned out in the 2nd quarter to watch the SAG awards -- the game was just getting on my nerves. I hate watching bad basketball. I really thought you'd never get off the Trevor wagon ... I guess he laid one too many bricks tonight.

Again ... I don't hate the guy. It's not his fault that they sold him this idea that he could actually be a star -- I'm squarely blaming Morey and Adelman for that royal snafu (as well as their general annoying intransigence over personnel handling this season ... just admit you fouled up already and start making changes, dangit). I just hate watching bad basketball. I am as forgiving and longsuffering as any Rockets fan can be -- to the very end I always thought Rafer got an unfairly bad rap because it was always obvious that he did his best to make the most of his talents and limitations. David Andersen is a tweener who routinely gets destroyed on defense, but I actually like him because he generally will do the right thing to the best of his ability in any given situation. Chuck Hayes can't do anything offensively and yet he still can be an asset on the offensive end.

Not Trevor. Not content to be utterly devoid of professional basketball skill, his continual atrocious decision making is what really frustrates me. "Dangit Trevor. Don't shoot! Don't drive into traffic! Make a cut! Don't gamble! Give up the ball! Stop trying to do things you know you can't do!" At some point you just get tired of it and decide there are happier ways to spend your evening.

Imagine if we actually had a competent starting shooting guard to play alongside Aaron Brooks. If only.

Are Rockets still considering bringing him back?... I heard Grizzlies were trying to make an offer when he's healthy if they don't land brewer.

    From Adam Wexler's twitter:

With his 3-14 shooting night, Trevor Ariza now sits dead last in FG% among the 117 players who qualify (37.8%)

DEAD FRICKEN LAST IN THE NBA.....

Of course Corey Maggette is a better player than Ariza. That's why he's getting paid twice as much.

But there's a reason why Golden State fans refer to him as "Regrette" and "Bad p*rn".
