Taking swings at rookies who steal your lunch shows very high character

trevor should just drive to the bsaket and draw fouls if his shot is not falling. no matter how bad he is at creating his own shot. just drive, drive, drive, make the pass, or attempt to shoot the lay-up until your shot is not falling.

I got a fun fact for you guys about Trevor Ariza's shooting ability.

Trevor Ariza hit 61 3-pointers in 08-09....after hitting only 9 3-pointers in 229 games prior.

Re-read that again, and let it sink in.

I am wondering if his deformed feet are having an effect on Ariza's current struggles.

Dont know if anyone mentioned this, but I think he needs to be sat down from starter position so he can get a wake up call, i understand a shooting slump, but missing FT's there really is no excuse.

He should really stop taking 3s. He is obviously in the midst of a horrific slump, and you are not going to get out of it from beyond the arc. I say until he shoots over 50% for 3 games in a row, NO 3s.

I'd rather showcase SheMac to get a better deal then let Ariza run wild

RA definitely favors ariza lot more than tmac, despite ariza's struggle and lack of basketball intelligence. I cant imagine RA cutting down ariza's minutes because he's sucking big time.
Sure ariza's young, athletic and got "upside", but that dont translate much as far as the end result.
Ariza's trying to be a vocal leader when he's in a slump, that to others might rub off the wrong way, more like easy to lose his cool and berate people's mistakes when he's making plenty himself. He definitely needs to set the bar lower now and just focus on being a dependable role player instead of a #1 option.

As things stand, I feel that giving Ariza a 5 year contract was the biggest blunder Morey has done so far.

I mean... 5 years? I wish we could trade him tomorrow first thing in the morning. RA is also making a big mistake by having Ariza play as if he were the star of the team. Ariza won't be happy when RA finally comes to his senses and reduces his minutes drastically.

He's just 24 man, he's got a away's to go,signing him for the midlevel is one of DM's great moves. I agree about his PT though, it should go to Tmac/Cbud/JT instead (not necesarily in that order).

He should be forbidden to shoot 3s... it would do wonders for his percentage. Whats wrong with his agility? He's always slipping and falling.

I just think he is awkward.....and lanky......sort of a AK47 with poorer balance.

People raving over his athleticism either didn't watch him play much before he came to the Rockets or they set the bar for athleticism very low.

A few of us have been saying that since he came here and kept getting shouted down. Funny, I don't get shouted down much these days.
