James Posey happened. It was his semi-contested 3 pointer that ignited the run. Then it was his all-world flop that capped it (b*stard  ). But hey, what can you do.

I guess that's why Miami and Boston (and NO tried to) utilized him in their championship run.

adelman has alot to do with arizas struggles but saying that lets be for real people. that man came to this team to be the man. it wasnt about wining if he wanted to do that he would have went to la its not about money both cleveland and la offered the same amount its about getting his. he thinks hes a star now after wining that championship and he just might be but not in the current role he has right now i see him as a shawn marion type of player but he has to be in the right situation. now lets get back to adelman who does the worst job coaching ariza over any other player on the roster first things first he is not a 2 guard hes a small forawrd but he continues to play the majority of his minutes at that position even when chase was healthy (who i think actually complements arizas game) its coaching!!!! adelman has poor substitution patterns he has a systematic rotation where a certain guy comes in at a certain point of the game instead of letting the game itself dictate who plays and who gets how many minutes its basicly a set rotation thats why tmac couldnt get pt cuz rick doesnt know how to coach all that talent at that one position. now what really make me pissed is when i see ariza closing out every single game EVERY SINGLE GAME!!!!! really rick? it reminds me of when we had von and rick would always pull that boy for artest who closed every game last year to just like ariza. i can allready see games in the future where budinger will have it going and he will get pulled becuz of the (set rotation) and thats just bad coaching. we also had the same problem with ab and rafer in 09 u dont owe these players anything rick i dont care what u and morey told ariza in vegas when u were trying to get him to sign the dotted line ITS ABOUT WINING !!!!! NOT ABOUT MAKING SOME PLAYER HAPPY im begining to se clearly why this guy hasnt won a championship hes just not smart

They're not actually bad shots. He's just missing. He's not trying to create as much as he was earlier in the season.

    Agree with STFU part.

But come on, when he got to the rim, more often than not he finishes with dunks or gets fouled. Don't exaggerate that part.

What? No he doesn't he blows layup after layup because he is avoiding the contact.

He occasionally has the nice dunk but he fails more than succeeds in there.

LOL - stop being obtuse, you know it is a team game, but one bad teamate can hurt the rest......

One guy playing outside his capabilities can hurt the entire team.

Man, I want Chase Budinger, and them to sign Von Wafer......

    Friggen Ariza is a 24mpg player...tops...

DD, you don't know what you are talking about just because you don't like him.

Ariza is having a career low in FG%. 3pt shooting is not his strength. Slashing and finish is.

Yeah, not to mention if he gets to the line, he'll brick it from there too.

One minute its about sharing and playing team ball, the next DD is saying this one is on ariza. I wonder if you were saying the same thing when you know who was flipping the ball over like turnover of the month in the playoffs.

Wow, you guys are really harsh on Ariza. It's only 30 games in and you guys are ready to trade him away. I never hear anything about the games we win and he puts up good stats scross the board. Yeah ok, he is not shooting well. He is still learning how to be a scorer when defenses focus on him. He doesn't have the benefit of playing with Yao and/or T-Mac (or another true star player) right now. What happened to coming into this season to try to stretch his and AB's comfort zone? We all knew coming in it would not be a smooth transition for both of them. This season was supposed to be a growing period for our guys. You all make it sound like we are contenders and not playing up to potential. This is just the type of season we expected. A lot of ups and downs from our guys. We not winning 50 games fellas, so give that up. We are going to lose some close ones, blow some leads, and get blown out along the way. We will also win a few we probably shouldn't have...

So please stop the whinning. Ariza is a work in progress. We all knew that coming in. He will learn.

He doesn't have a strength. He can't dribble, he takes more threes than anyone not named Gallinari, as you noted a terrible shooter from there. A poor finisher, can't shoot from the FT line, is a liability when he terminates his dribble, which is after every third dribble. Ariza is the worst shooter in the NBA right now - and this guy is talking as many shots as Bosh, Carter, or Roy.

Only one letter separates winning and "whinning".

    Flame me for my cheesiness.

And yes, I know it's spelled whining.

No kidding. We get 4 points and 2 turnovers down the stretch from Landry, our main 4Q scorer, and people are blaming Ariza for the loss. Unreal.

he doesnt finish as well as you think he does, unless you can't break away dunks. In the halfcourt he has trouble finishing when challenged.

I stand corrected Choujie, he is a career .448% shooter....

The difference is that he only plays 24 mpg, and was not a starter.

    Ariza's career stats

Last year, with the Lakers he only started 20 games....

I think the Rockets need to limit him to 30 minutes TOPS.

    Ariza is wya too indecisive.

When he gets an open shot, he will just stand there and stall for a second, a lot can happen in a second, he could have shot the ball, he could have drived to the basket, but he just always bloody stands there, at least pass the damn ball.

Transitioning players should still be shooting a higher percentage than Ariza this season. He's been the worst shooter in the NBA this season, and he's becoming worse. There's no development showing in his game, except his cockiness, and mouth is growing larger, and he's almost coming to a point where he's hurting our team.
