I have grown to hate SWYYYGUY Give it a rest man. Harden has done more to revitalize basketball in Houston since Yao and Tmac. Even MORE so. NO we're not going to win every game. NO he's not going to shine every game. YES he'll make mistakes and bad decisions. EVERY player has their off nights. Just think, we COULD be the Mavs On the positive side, James brings: 1) Exciting plays and scoring achievements 2) Game winning shots and plays 3) Playoff highlights 4) Rockets records 5) Star players to Houston 6) Top-tier team ranking 7) WC finals Don't expect everyone to hate right along with you. Nah, as long as he plays his heart out in the playoffs, that's all we as fans can ask for. That's why T-Mac is so highly regarded around here even though he didn't have a lot of playoff success. T-Mac always embraced the big stage and turned it UP in the playoffs. He is #11 ALL-TIME in playoff PER!! Harden is an amazing player; one of the greatest regular season players to ever play the game. He just tends to be afraid of the moment in the playoffs and becomes more timid and quits; similar to LeBron in 2011. I really hope he can change that this year though!
I agree. We won't win every game. He will make mistakes. All I ask is that he DOES NOT QUIT IN THE PLAYOFFS. It's okay if he doesn't win in the playoffs. Basketball is a team game and a team sport. You can lose without quitting though! Is that too much to ask for? I also agree that Harden brings points 1 through 6 in your list. However, JOSH SMITH brought us the WC Finals.

What means more, the playoffs or the regular season? T-Mac turned it up the playoffs. Harden (so far in his career) turns it down in the playoffs. I just want Harden to give it his all in the playoffs and not quit. Is that too much to ask? @DreamShook can you get rid of this YOF just like you got rid of @vlaurelio?
What are you talking about dude he's clearly had some dude no doubt but to compare him to tmac? The guy who's never elevated his team out o the first round dispite having 3-1 and 2-1 leads in team playoffs? He's the choker dude he was the best player on the team and they always lost who cares what his PER was. Harden actually wins playoffs series. Winning is more important that what you interpret at "turning up". Harden was monster in the 1st round against Dallas a few years ago and won the series, harden was huge against okc last year and won. He played as well as any player besides Lebron against the warriors in the wcf, just got beat by the batter team that happens to be an alltime team. Last year was a dud against the Spurs in game 6 but prior to that game he was having a pretty damn good series. Tmac is just not the guy you should site if your trying to talk about playoffs
Let’s put it this way. If basketball were James Bond Movies, Olajuwon is Sean Connery and James Harden is Daniel Craig. Yeah, Quantum of Solace sucked, but for the most part he has been very solid, and has already had some all-time great moments. He is clearly a top 2 or 3 Bond actor already, and he’s not done yet. T- Mac is George Lazenby. Maybe he was talented and could have been great, but we’ll never know because he was barely there.
