This thread remains stupid and hyperbolic. HOWEVA.... I said it in the game thread, but I've reached this point. I am tired of this era of basketball. I don't know what changes need to be made, but I do know that losing so many games because there is no strategy or nuance to the Rockets brand of basketball has reached its endgame, at least for myself. I am simply tired of the constant late game failures. Nothing ever changes, and I have grown tired of it.
You guys are boring as hell after every loss. The guy scores an efficient 32 points, has 15 assists, has 8 rebounds, has 4 steals, and yet it's always Harden's fault.... all that whilst basically carrying a G League team. How about we start blaming his inconsistent 3pt shooters.... who basically went 3/21 from the 3pt line at one point.

We shot 39.7% from 3, we had a good shooting night. Sometimes we just need a basket and not settle for multiple step backs.
This guy is not an alpha super star. He's a 2b at best. Cannot win a title with Harden as your main go-to guy. Each of the last 6 years we have already learned that and we are seeing that yet again this year
boxscore watching again. harden had 25 at the half. he had a 3 when the game was over. which means harden only had 4 points in the 2nd half. when the rockets were blowing the lead harden was passive and was contributing to that 3/21.
I do not think he was any different in 2018, Chris Paul orchestrated 4th quarters against GSW before the injury like the pure floor general that he is.
He dug his own grave when he signed off on the Westbrick trade. You don’t gotta be CP3’s friend shiiieet you don’t even gotta like him but one day he’ll realize how good he had it with him.
We had a good shooting night for 2 quarters. We had a period of 3/26 from the 3pt line. That's not on Harden if his teammates are missing really good wide open looks. So you're basically saying Harden should drive more? When he does drive to the paint, he gets the attention of 3 OKC players in the paint. He doesn't have the space to get to the basket like that. Are you also going to ignore the fact they're getting way more free throws than us? It's not a coincidence that we're getting ****ed over by the officials here. They're not giving Harden anything in the paint. That's actually the reason why they've won the last 2 games..... because of the free throw difference. You guys nitpick so much. The guy has a great game and he still gets bashed. I'd understand if he had a series like Paul George, but Harden is actually played well in this series. But apparently he's choking. Okay.
I'm the guy who has consistently preached adding an elbow jumper to Harden's game as he's too reliant on driving and step backs. However, Harden did have at least 4 drives he had but passed out of. Like I said, sometimes we just need a bucket.
