I have grown tired of the Rangers having a better record than us

This is obviously a fake site since the Yankees are not in the top 3.

Braves are awesome… but so were we in 2019. Greatest Astro team ever, and didn’t win.

Enough of this, I'll worry about the Rangers when we play the Rangers. Just play the games and win them.

Watching the Rangers and they’re keying in on a section of their ballpark that has a bunch of people much younger than me wearing Twins, Cubs, fraternity, and a couple of Ranger jerseys in their ballparks and wow look how rowdy they are and how much fun they’re having and Hay Zeus Christi if that was my team’s ballpark I’d be ****ing pissed. This is what happens when you brand your team as Texas but you play in a mall parking lot

Lots of people point to comical moments as the worst moment of the franchise, like the butt error back in 2012

Or the time the Astros lost a game on a dropped pop up against the pirate in 2013,

But the absolute ebb, the lowest point, the utter nadir of the franchise is when they played Sweet Caroline when the Red Sox came to town during their first year in the AL. Nothing more humiliating than your ballpark subjected to transients and having those who represent the city cater to them.

I suppose the difference is we weren’t in first place in the division during those moments.

Astros have a total of 9 games left vs current playoff teams. 3 at Miami, 3 at Texas, and 3 home vs Bal.

Rangers have 20. 3 at SF, 3 home vs Brewers, 4 at Minn, 3 home vs Minn, 3 home vs Hou, and 4 at Tor.

From September 1st through end of season:

Astros have 4 days off playing no more than 6 games in a row.

Rangers only have 2 days off, playing 13 in a row having 1 day off then 10 games in a row to end the season.

Minny is a pushover so I would count that number as 13, not 20.

They are better than the Marlins.

Rangers are good. They would beat the Orioles straight up who are way outperforming their RD

Interesting that you leave out that we have six gms left against SEA who are only two gms behind us in the loss column. There's also no mention of the seven gms we have left against BOS who are only four gms behind TOR for the 3rd WC. There's also 3 gms left against the NYY. Sure they're struggling but going up against Cole is no picnic.

I think the Rangers have 6 left against Seattle too though. And those are in their last nine games.

Frustrating, but the Rangers went out, broke the bank, and stocked up on a basket full of good to excellent players. They are good, apparently better than the Astros at this point. It will be a close finish, but even if the Astros win the division they still have to play the best teams left. Personally, I don't think this team is as good as last years, BUT, baseball runs hot and cold.

The rangers just went through an incredibly soft part of their schedule in august. Come the final month of september it definitely isn't that easy for them. outside of a series vs oakland, they play every team in the hunt for a October birth including a 3 game series on the road vs Houston.

The only thing the rangers have proved to this point is that they've won 68 games to date. that's literally it
